Biscuit was the first to say hello to Dad. She perched on his shoulder and settled right in. Then moved on, and made a few biscuits on his neck. Finally, she found the perfect spot between his shoulders for a nap.
And Dave waited while Miss Biscuit napped.

ReplyDeletewe have two that like that back of the neck position -- it was much more comfortable when binx was a kitten, but he assures us he's still a tiny *inside* ;)
Laurie, you have such a cool Dad. I had a great Dad, don't get me wrong. May he rest in peace with fine bluegrass music playing in the background. But nobody would list "Cool" among his long list of wonderful attributes. He was more along the nerdy side -- building Heathkit radios on the kitchen table, using a slide rule (with no self-consciousness whatsoever), wearing shortsleeve shirts with neckties, etc. Oh, did I mention his pocket protector?
