I sense a contest brewing for "Naughtiest Furman," and hope we'll see all the photographic evidence required to cast a properly-informed vote for the winner.
I see I'm not the only one thinking Oliver was possibly framed for "naughty kitty" of the litter...Mr. Teddy does seem to be rather "active" as my mother used to say. :)
Now that I'm not laughing hysterically, I can type, and I'm with Jo; Laurie, it sure looks to me like you and Teddy are sharin' that smoothie. Hope he saved some for you.
I love love love how you always take photos of the itty bitty's naughty behavior (curtain-shredding, lamp-climbing, table-scaling, etc.) before putting a stop to it. What a born kitten-wrangler/foster mom you are!
My girls (who are now 9yrs old) will steal a straw faster than you can say "No, not yours!". If it's a bendy straw, even better! Cats are drawn to straws like magnets.
Forget the straw, Teddy. Just put your face in like my Lily does my water glass every morning. (TIP: Even more effective....insert paw, lick, repeat.) Overcome with generosity, and impressed by your ingenuity, your human will immediately give you the whole thing.
Aww, this reminds me of my sweet Sassafras. I miss her terribly. She would mess with any straw she found, and then knock the whole drink over playing with it. Good times.
I particularly enjoyed this because my cat Teddy - who was a foster kitten - is a bendy-straw-stealing FIEND. It must go with the name. My Teddy's a girl, though.
Seems like Mr. Teddy is a very enterprising young m...cat!
ReplyDeleteAw c'mon Laurie, give him some smoooovie!
ReplyDeleteSmoothie for Teddy! Such cuteness deserves sharing everything, right?
ReplyDeleteLooks like Oliver isn't the only naughty kitten in this litter ;)
ReplyDeleteKitties love bendy straws!

ReplyDeleteTeddy is my favorite Furman. I hope the lucky adopter of this awesome kitten sends update photos as he grows.
ReplyDelete"I'm sorry, but I'm not sharing my smoothie with you" - umm according to Teddy, Laurie, apparently yes you ARE sharing...
ReplyDeleteI'd share my smoothie--and straw--with him. He's so adorable I couldn't refuse him anything (unless it wasn't safe, of course). What a sweetie pie!

ReplyDeleteJust look at that gleefully naughty expression! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, if you wouldn't leave your catnip smoothies sitting around with bendy straws in them you wouldn't be having this problem...
ReplyDeletebut.. but.. but.. kitties love smoothies!
ReplyDeleteHa, adorable!
ReplyDeleteBut, but, but.....Teddy is having FUN!
ReplyDeleteAnd he is so dang CUTE!
sigh...such mischief
