Oliver Furman, Where is Your Family?

DSC_1294

Four out of five Furmans have found their family, but we're still looking for the perfect home for Mr Oliver Nicholas.

A little bit about the boy:

First of all, he's adorable. He's got the best polka-dots on his legs and backside, freckles on his nose, little stripes down his back legs that look like a little pair of chaps, and a dash above his eye looks makes him look like he's raised an eyebrow while pondering something very important.

He's active, animated and lively, HIGHLY entertaining, very curious, social, bright and funny too. He's a very chatty little boy, and is excellent at expressing his needs.

When it's time to settle down, he turns into a sweet, innocent love bug, and will cuddle in your arms. He's got a good, strong purr.

Because he is so playful, it's important that he has a home with a playmate. Another kitten, or young, active cat would do. A senior cat might not be so impressed with his antics. He hasn't spent time with dogs, but I could see him having a good time romping with a puppy.

If you think you might be able to offer the perfect home for this young lad, please send us an email at kittywrangler@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself.

  1. Oh he is so dashing in all his black and white markings! I would love to take him home but alas I am in a place that limits to two kitties and I have two. Darn double darn!

  5. Same geographical problem: Texas. Can't believe he's the only one without a famblee! He's the very 1st Furman I would have picked.

  6. I agree with Nanette! He's been my pick all along. Of course, I have an affinity for black and white kitties. (My baby is the best Tuxedo in the world!)

  13. I don't get how he can't have a home yet - he is an adorable little cow kitten baby! We are way to far (which is probably a good thing since we have technically reached our max of 6) but I am sure he will have a wonderful forever home very soon (maybe someone who would like to start a blog about him - that sounds like a great idea!)

  14. Patti had the same thought as me - maybe seeing that Oliver is alone, one of his siblings' new humans will decide they have to have him, too.

My second thought was that I bet Oliver would probably get along well with dear little Gary at Pitter Pats of Baby Cats! What a cute pair of adopted brothers they would make...

I think my brain would just explode with that combo.

Sending out prayers to the Universe that you find your forever family soon, Oliver!

  24. Yea OLIVER... I was beginning to think I was going to have my GF in S/T adopt you and bring you to MY house in Florida. I have the perfect companions for you. One needs a baby and the other needs an exercise partner!! Alas, you have your home. Congrats, dear boy and to the others, the kids and the new parents!

  25. Yay! Way to go, darling Oliver! And Charlene seems excited, so it must be a really great family. Maybe sweet Ve Ching was feeling lonely and she's getting a baby brother? Opal and her family would also be fantastic!

  26. I cannot believe that it took Oliver so long to find a family! He's one of my favorite IBKC kittens of all time, and if I didn't live on the east coast, I most definitely would have scooped him up. He's like a tiny version of my energetic little guy (which is why he would have made the perfect little bro!). Best of luck to all of the Furmans!

  27. Oh man! You torment me with Oliver! I have two kitties who would love a little brother. Alas, we are in Florida. I just love his funny little face and his sassy ways!

    C'mon people, hook Oliver up!

  28. To whoever got O.N. Furman - you lucky ducks! He is my favourite Furman.

  29. Just in the nick of time. I was beginning to think about traveling north to adopt this marvelous little boy. That sweet face just knocks me out, and his personality couldn't be more appealing.

Hooray for Oliver and his new family!

  30. If I didn't live across the country and wasn't already at my "permitted kitty limit" I just know that Oliver would love getting into trouble w/my Tessa. And then my troublemaker would leave the older Lilly alone!

So glad he found a (undoubtedly) wonderful family.

  34. Thanks for your news, Marlene. I was confused by the comments changing from "I hope..." to "Congratulations, Oliver...".

For those who don't know, Charlene Butterbean has a Facebook (FB) page which apparently gets updated before this blog does.

She says Oliver has found his place.

  35. P.S. You need to be a friend of Charlene on FB to see the news.

  36. Doodle Bean - Charlene's facebook account is linked to her Twitter feed. So if you follow her on Twitter, you'll see the same updates. Also, her Tweets are published on the blog too. If you look on the far right column, you'll see "Tweets from The Bean".
