I didn't plan on getting kittens so soon, but the foster room was completely packed, and they needed to free up some space. Darcy at the HS sent out a 911 email, and in this email, she attached pictures of the litters.
Most of the kittens came with mamas, and we take babies only. There was a set of three orphans, and the Frosts. I told Darcy we could take either, which ever she prefers, and would pick them up that evening when I came to pick up the Lively Bunch after their surgery.
Really, either set would of been fine, all the kittens were adorable, but secretly I wanted the Frosts. If you saw this picture, wouldn't you want them too?
So in they moved, and here they are...
One goofy, glorious, gorgeous pair of kittens.
Not second! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture - so much like human brothers and sisters when they are little
Ooooh, teeny tiny crinkly tongue on Nigel in the second picture!
ReplyDeleteOh what a TREAT! You know, my dear - if I'm ever feeling blue and I can't get to my laptop OR my netbook (horrors the thought!) I can imagine your little basket full of floofy babies with their faces turned up toward me (well, YOU, and the camera) and I am instantly happied. YOU are a purveyor of unalloyed delight.
ReplyDeleteOH Mimsey's head tilt... that's what got me!
ReplyDeleteI second Dale-Harriet's comment. I get so much delight visiting this blog. Makes a grey rainy day much much better.
That last picture cracks me up! Happy Friday everybody!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the hours of entertainment a new home would have if they could both be taken together :) Love the names as well. Sounds like a set of British spies :)
ReplyDeleteGosh...they look so goofy and fun...what a delight...
ReplyDeleteThat first picture slays me! And that last one! Oh heck, and every picture in between...
ReplyDeleteNigel reminds me very much of my Dad's kitty; whose fur is thick like lamb's fur and her mew sounds like a baa!
ReplyDeleteSo everytime I see Nigel now, I think of him baa'ing. xD SO CUTE!
Good think they have The Bean for a foster mommy....she can teach them how to keep their fur gorgeous
ReplyDeleteAll the pictures of these two are gorgeous, but that first one just leaves me speechless!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, you and your family are truly amazing.
ReplyDeleteSeeing the first picture actually brought tears to my eyes because it's a real reminder of where so many sweet little babies spend so much time waiting for a home.
By the time I got to the last picture, I was chuckling.
So thank you. :)
Too cure. I hope they get adopted together - a perfect pair!
ReplyDeleteNot only goofy but also floofy.
ReplyDeletei wonder if they will be around long enough to meet the Bean. the three would make some lovely photos!
ReplyDeletehow could *anyone* resist that first pic?
ReplyDeleteIn the first photo, is Nigel laying on one of Sue's handmade cat mats?
ReplyDeleteThese two have so much personality! Mimsy's cocked head in the first shot, and then Nigel
ReplyDeletes crinkled pink tongue in the second, are just adorable. The IBKC -- it's my happy place.
Meant to also say OMG they are so fluffy I'm gonna die!!! :)
ReplyDeletePic # 4 commentary:
ReplyDeleteNigel: I'm not touching you! I'm not touching you!
Mimsy: MOOOOOMMMMM! BEEEEAAAANNN! Make him STOP!
oohhh pleeze get their pic with Miss Charlene! All that floof might set a new World Record!
ReplyDeleteDa winnahs in the Floofiest contest!
They look so mischievous! They are going to be trubble! MOL!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful floofballs! Will the Bean get to see them or will they be in quarantine too long?
ReplyDeleteI thought Marie-Noire was irresistible - now I really wish I could afford two more cats; I'd have been there in a heartbeat to scoop these two up.
ReplyDelete(I can't stop looking at their pics)
All great photos but the first and the last just kill me with the silly cuteness!
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous @ 7;13 a.m.,
ReplyDeleteMarie-Noire was indeed irresistible; as with any addiction, you have built up a certain tolerance and you feel you need these two to get your kitten fix.
Interventionistas: BEWARE!
Such cuties! Glad you got the Frost kittehs.
ReplyDeleteSqueee! I love them so much already! And I really hope they will get to meet Charlene.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, how do you keep yourself from wanting to have these kittens forever and ever? I'm just looking at pictures and I just want to nuzzle up to all that floof! Forever and ever! <3
ReplyDeleteAwww they are just fluffilicious!!!
ReplyDeleteSooo Adorable and cute!
They look like they will be gorgeous adult cats with beautiful markings..
