Quite a Show
If you happened to be walking by our house yesterday afternoon, you might have seen a little action in our living room window.
Some of the kittens were batting at the cord from the shades. Some were stalking a housefly caught between the shades and glass. Some were playing with the tails of those distracted by the cord or the fly.
There was a whole lot of prancing, dancing, bouncing, pouncing, climbing, batting and catting going on. These little performers put on quite a show.
Yes, they are a Lively bunch.

ReplyDeleteCancel the cable and just buy a folding chair then plant yourself outside Laurie's house! What a precious series of pictures.
ReplyDeleteI bet this was a hoot! They are so full of life, energy, joy and kitten spirit it can't help but make the observer HAPPY!
ReplyDeleteThough I can definitely wait to see the 'film' which always signals the departure.
"How much is that kitten in the window?"
ReplyDeletefor a Lively bunch, they sure are show-stoppers!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I have an idea: stadium seating in front of your house. Between the seating and concessions, you would make a fortune.
ReplyDeleteGood thing i don't live in the area. I'd be stalking your house every day. Such darling little monsters!
ReplyDeletewho needs tv?!
ReplyDeleteyou should put out chairs in your front yard and charge admission to pay for kitten food :)
Ha, kitten energy! They should find a way to bottle that stuff and sell it! Adorable. And to think of how serious they all looked when we first met them!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a moment to recognize it (blame it on the 4PM brain slump?), but the framing on today's photo is genius! The Lively bunch, the Lively bunch, that's how they became the Lively bunch...
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised there wasn't a crowd gathered outside to take it all in ;)
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I could walk by to see them playing in the window! I love the shadowbox effect.
ReplyDeleteI love the lower-right photo. It looks like Fiona is giving Irving her best right jab!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time I came and got my Itty Bitty Kitty fix:-) What an adorable bunch of little troublemakers!
ReplyDeleteWatch out for flies in the window.. that's how my Smudge broke her leg. :(
ReplyDeleteIt's still cute stuff though.
They really are an adorable bunch. Your neighbors must love when you have kittens :)
ReplyDeleteOh my. You can see so many wonderful kitten-y features. Round little bellies, tail rudders, satellite dish ears, complete concentration. I can't imagine a more wonderful window display.
