Well, it's official. The Frosts are now Iowans.
Their traveling tale is a long one. It was free of any glitches , dramas and traumas, but still a long story. I'll be telling it all tomorrow.
Just wanted to let you know that they are home safe and sound.
And my parents are REALLY happy.
Congratulations to the two and four legged ones! I look forward to reading all about this exciting adoption adventure and hearing, and it goes without saying, seeing photographs in the days and years to come. I hope your parents don't have too much trouble explaining time zones to the babies.
ReplyDeleteYay for happy kitties and happy humans! I'm glad they made it safely and that your parents get to enjoy years of Frost joy (and you, too, by extension!).
ReplyDeleteSoooo happy to hear everything went well.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness they're home! Best wishes to your parents and their new babies!
ReplyDeleteAaahhhhh....the forever home, at last. What a pair of adventurous darlings!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all and happy landings! I'm sure that now they're scoping out their new digs and have already spent quite some time testing the laps and petting available, finding them entirely purrworthy.
ReplyDeleteGood News !!!
ReplyDeleteAlways a relief to hear little ones get home safely - thanks for the update!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!
ReplyDeleteWe still want our photos of your dad, the Kitten Whisperer! Those are always awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe have two Iowa kitties and I'll vouch that they're the very best. There are lots of birds, bunnies, and squirrels to watch from a window perch, and our kitties used to try to pounce on the snowflakes falling outside throw the window.
ReplyDeleteWOOO!
ReplyDeleteI can't help singing to myself "They're from IIIIIoway"
*happydance for the Frosts and your folks*
Well, I can just imagine them with Anderson-Erickson cream on their little whiskers. Congratulations, all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this. You know how we all worry. Now very excited waiting for the story.
ReplyDeletePleased it all went well. Hope everyone settles in :)
ReplyDeleteglad to hear that they are safe and sound and that the kitten whisperer has cats of his own again. :)
ReplyDeleteYay Mom and Dad! Snorgle them kitties!
ReplyDeleteHere's to happy endings (the travel journey) and happy beginnings (the life journey)!
ReplyDeleteGlad they made it safely home! Can't wait for the story and pics!
ReplyDeleteOh good, so happy to hear that everyone is home safe.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to hearing all about the travel adventures.
Happier news there couldn't be! I'm so glad you made an exception to your "local adopters only" rule, and am looking forward to learning what it was about Mimsey and Nigel that made Sharon and Dave choose them.
ReplyDeleteI am sure they are glad to be home, I know I am... And, I suppose, now that you are going to be Martha Stewart famous, it will be a while till you get kittens. At least you still have SparkleBean to help you get ready for the shows. And maybe, just maybe, Dave and Sharon will be guest posters with pics of the Frosts... Good luck with the Martha Stewart fame!
ReplyDeleteHurray for Dave, Sharon and their Travellin' Kittens! I can't wait to see those adorable little faces again. Mimsey and Nigel must be the most snuggled floofy babies in the world right now!
ReplyDeleteWhat stories they have to tell already in their new little lives...
ReplyDeletexxoo!
I was born and raised in Iowa. So were my parents. I'll be headed there this week. I'm happy they've made it to their home without any problems. There's lots of birds in Iowa and with winter coming they'll be grouped around any bird feeders they can find. Let's hope they can find a nice place for bird watching.
ReplyDeleteLovely Thanksgiving Day for Nigel & Mimsey in their new super-duper-special forever home!
ReplyDeleteHooray! What wonderful news right before Thanksgiving
ReplyDeleteSuch lucky kittens, to have been on such a great adventure and now starting a whole new life! I miss them already... pictures please! <3
ReplyDeleteAwwww ... and the best part is we will get regular updates and photos! YAY!
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO!!! Looking forward to the story!!!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me I am not the only pathetic person checking every half hour or so to see if the story is up yet!
ReplyDeleteSorry, but t's going to be awhile,,,, there are a few things on my to-do list before blogging this AM. And it's a long story to write. Bean will tweet when it goes up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie. "My name is Pat and I am an IBKC addict." lol
ReplyDeleteTeughcats, you are not alone....I'm not sure where in Iowa the babies are but they could see their very first snowflakes this week! So many new things for these two.
ReplyDeleteyay! can't wait for stories and pics!
ReplyDeleteSo glad they made it there safely! I'm so happy for the Frosts and your parents - I'm sure they'll be perfect for each other.
