I've been crafting around the clock with the help of my two little studio mates, Nigel and Mimsey. They LOVE wresting in my paper scraps, so instead of throwing thing right into the recycling, I've been making a little paper nest for them.
It's fun for the kittens and it keeps them distracted, off my desk, and away from my finished work.
OH,, and yes,,, I'll be doing the Martha Stewart Holiday Craft Sale in NYC on Saturday Dec 4th. Thanks again for all who cast a vote of support! There's more info on the sale here. If you're in the area, please stop by and say "hello". I would love to meet you!

ReplyDeleteThis is why our paper shredder lives in an undisclosed location. (Past experience with nesting.)
Congratulations on the Martha Stewart Craft Sale. No wonder you have been busy making ornaments. I hope people are awed by your talent as I am.
ReplyDeleteWill Charlene be traveling to the big apple too? :-)
Congrats, Martha is lucky to have you!!!
ReplyDeleteDo I detect some floof between Nigel's toes? How about a close-up?
ReplyDeleteSuch photogenic kittehs! Your parents are very lucky to have these two. I assume they are going to them soon now that they have had their "spa day".
ReplyDeleteOh, hooray for the craft sale! I can't wait to hear about it!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you made the craft sale! Can you also take IBKC note cards with you? Hooray for the floof!

ReplyDeleteCats and scrapbooking supplies, ah yes, I know this well :)
... and sending healing thoughts to the baby tiger
It is so sweet in pic #1, how Nigel is acting as Mimsey's belly warmer!
ReplyDeleteThese two are beyond...everything! Combined, they can make me forget Francine Darling.
ReplyDelete(I'm going to try to make it to the Craft Sale as I hope to find some things don't show up at every craft market in the city from November 26th onward.)
Lordy, Laurie, even your scraps are pretty!
ReplyDeleteit would be so cute if you had some of these pictures at your table!
ReplyDeleteCould these 2 be any cuter? I think not.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My cat loves plastic bags so much that a friend crocheted kitty-bed out of plastic bags for her. Kitties and crafts are such a great combination!
ReplyDeletei will be coming to see your wares at the craft sale! looking forward to it - it looks like a great event! sharon
ReplyDeleteHope we get to see pictures of what you're making with all that pretty paper!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!
ReplyDeleteI bet those two are just loving the crinkly goodness that is paper scraps. :) Congrats on your itty-bitty-bits-removal, guys! <3
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to you too, Laurie. :) Have fun at the craft sale!
Ooh, so wonderful to see the babies are not only recovering nicely, but back to their usual playful selves! They are sooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteMy old cat Fuzzy (he died January '09) LOVED paper. If a room was entirely empty except for a single piece of paper in the middle of the floor, Fuzzy would go lie on it. Once while we were decorating the Christmas tree he burrowed into the pile of tissue paper that had been used for storing the glass ornaments. These babies just reminded me of that.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the contest! So exciting!
It's wonderful to see Mimsey and Nigel having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLittle scrappy helpers! Awesome. Good luck in NYC.
ReplyDeleteOMG. Not only did the paper scraps distract Nigel and Mimsey, they created yet another photo op. Beautiful kittens!
ReplyDeleteThat was great post. Natural Cat Supplies Exotic Cats Thanks for sharing.
