Heh! My babycat has a spot like that on her belly, from her spay scar. You don't know the will it takes to not snorgle it every time I see it; only the threat of kitteh claws keeps me in line!
Both Clarence and Georgie have just the most precious eyes - something just a wee bit unusual in their shape and the colors are just tremendous. And they look like tiny angels in kitten suits! :)
SO much character in that tiny face! And those eyes! He looks so content, no doubt as a result of all the love (and food!) he's received since he was brought to the Humane Society.
Squeeeeee! Just like Chippy! She was my first dog. She was a black cockapoo with a white spot just like that. Any critter marked like that brings me back to childhood.
what pretty eyes! he's lovely. i'm so glad these kitties now have a chance to grow healthy and strong and be happy and loved. and i can't wait to watch them do it all! <3 this site always makes my day. :)
Oh my goodness! His eyes, and his ascot, and his gentlemanly demeanor! I'm in love! Tuxedos aren't usually my favorites, but now I find myself quite undone.
You know what it reminds me of? An eighteenth-century man in a stylish black suit, with just a ruffly cravat puffing out of his jacket. Very Beau Brummell. Very classy.
Something about that first pic makes me realize how little Clarence really is. I usually have trouble determining how itty bitty the itty bitties are - Laurie, can you take a pic with a diet Coke can or something for reference sometime?
I guess because I drink so much diet Coke that I can easily visualize a can of it and then visualize the size of an itty bitty... I suppose a ruler could work as well, although we might have a centimeter vs inch issue for our international peeps.
Another special furry person... with amazing coloring. Name means - from the Latin title Clarensis which belonged to members of the British royal family. The title ultimately derives from the name of the Clare River in Ireland. As a given name it has been in use since the 19th century.
Oh Clarence! You remind me of my Zoe! She is all black with a white bikini, when you pick her up there is a white stripe across her chest and almost triangle on her belly.

ReplyDeleteOh my stars! He's got a bib! What a purrfect baby!
ReplyDeleteIt may not be a tux- I see it as more like a dicky under a sweater.
ReplyDeleteClarence- an angel! (Is it my imagination or is there a theme to this litter's names? Please please please may there be a Zuzu!)
Katy Lady, I was thinking exactly the same thing, but I was hoping for a Violet. I forgot all about Zuzu!

ReplyDeleteThe first picture reminds me of a high school graduation pic. Too cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat chin up pose made me almost try to reach through the screen to give the little man a chin rub!

ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant little man! I love those little white chests. So perfect for kissing.
ReplyDeleteTeughcats - ok, now I'm curious... why a *Diet Coke* can specifically? :)

ReplyDeleteIf I could move alllll the way out to the Seattle/Tacoma area, this little boy would be mine in a heartbeat! SOOOOO CUTE!
