Say Hello, Clarence.
Hello.
Egads! That little face just kills me. Just LOOK at that sweet little face.
This little lad is Clarence Bartlett. He's mostly all black, but has a tiny tuft of white on his chest. It's not quite enough white to make him a tuxedo.
He was the last to purr in this batch, but once he turned his motor on, it kept running, and running, and running.
Now, he's quick to purr - just give him a little scratch on his behind and he'll start right up for you!

Aaaaaaw, how can you resist that sweet little face??
ReplyDeleteWANT! he's just too sweet!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world, little one. You couldn't have picked a better place to start your life. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI can hear, in my head, a tiny, high pitched, little boy voice answering 'say hello clarence' with, "Hewwo Cwarence!"
ReplyDeleteClarence as in the Angel from "Its a Wonderful Life?" What a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteThat white bit? It's his Lucky Locket (my Evangeline has one too) and it clearly is working! I AM a sucker for black kitties - AGAIN I want to move to Tacoma!
ReplyDeleteWhy is this litter making me weepy? There is a special tenderness in the way you write about them. That's not to say that it's any more wonderfully tender than for all the others. Maybe it's Christmas.

Oh little Angel (Second Class) Clarence!!! George and Clarence --- my favorite Christmas movie. Oh let there be a little girl "ZuZu" next!
ReplyDeleteEEEEEE!!! That little face is sooo sweet. Hello little purr boy!
ReplyDeleteThat intense expression in Clarence's eye is the exact look my Simba has on his face whenever he's making biscuits. Clarence may have been slow to realize he has discovered kitty nirvana, but he certainly knows it now. What a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteOh hi sweet boy! I sighed when I saw his little face. He is just too much!
ReplyDeleteI can tell already that this litter is spectacular -- first these two incredibly lovely little boys -- and there's still more to go?!! I'm gonna be ded from all the cuteness and sweetness, but that's OK - I don't mind one bit! ;)
ReplyDeleteClarence the Christmas angel!
ReplyDeleteHis little patch of white means that he's cream-filled, like a Twinkie!
ReplyDeleteWe have a cream-filled puddie-tat, too.
First Georgie, now Clarence! What other wonders will our early Christmas stocking hold? Of course they are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh he is adorable. It's hardly surprising it took a while to find his purr ~ he had such a poor start in life. Blessings and love to him.

Such a sweet little face, reminds me of my Edgar when he was wee. Welcome, Clarence, it's a wonderful life indeed when you're growing up with Laurie, Craig and the Bean!
ReplyDeleteohhh scratch...scratch...scritch..scritch..schritch...shcratch....Motor on....
ReplyDeleteI agree with Amy. Cream filled chocolate cupcake. Baked in heaven!
ReplyDeleteHm... do I sense a "It's a Wonderful Life" theme to the names so far? These poor lil' booboos probably didn't think that their lives would be so wonderful at first, but they've hit the Kitty Jackpot. Santa Claws was very good to them this year. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're going to name one Zuzu, right? Pleeeeeaaaaase name one Zuzu!
ReplyDeleteHello Clarence! So wonderful to meet you little man >^..^<
ReplyDeleteOooo I think he just replaced Cornelius as my favorite... that little face is too much!
ReplyDeleteI do believe theirs will be an amazing life - from the second that unnamed angel brought them to the shelter!
ReplyDeleteso glad these poor little scraps of kittens found the right place to be abandoned,I know they couldnt be in better hands! please pet them for me.xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt's just amazing how kitties (and dogs too) soak up human love. They know when they're being loved and spoiled and they revel in it. Both of these little guys (and I'm sure the rest of the litter) obviously know they've got it good - their little faces say "I love you too, nice lady."
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a cute little guy! And you can tell he's so grateful to be in a loving home, where he can finally relax and be happy - like a sweet kitten should!
