Here's one family portrait I never shared with you. I think it was taken their second week with us. They were starting to fill out a bit, but they were still so thin through their shoulders.
And here we have the babies one month later - all healthy and round.
Georgie is quite proud of their progress. Aren't you Georgie?
Yep.
Yup, indeed, Georgie! We are proud of you and your sibs, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd Laurie and Craig and of course Ms. Bean for providing the best environment for kitten growth and thriving!
Lotsa love from all of us as you sashay into your future!
Georgie looks so regal there!
ReplyDeleteAwww Georgie, love the posing! I second what WebbThistle said...thank you for providing such a loving, warm and wonderful place for kittens to thrive and be so happy!
ReplyDeleteProud little Georgie, his pose makes me smile. Good job, Bartletts, growing up to be so healthy, strong and friendly! And Laurie, Craig and Charlene, you did most of the work, rescuing this litter from such a rough start and helping them become such wonderful little individuals.
ReplyDeleteI know this may sound bad, but I can't see the difference (except for Georgie but that's only because the hair on his nose grew back). But I know you take good care of every one in your house (human, canine, feline, etc) so I have no doubt you did good with them. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSuch baby faces! I'm so happy they're beat the odds of their rocky start and thrived.
ReplyDeleteI mean so happy THEY beat the odds..
ReplyDeleteSqueee... can't get over their absolute cuteness!!! So happy they are all settled.
ReplyDeleteJason - Their heads look proportionate to their bodies now, which doesn't seem to be the case in the first image. I volunteer at a shelter, and when kittens come in underweight and undernourished, their heads are often bigger than their bodies. You can see in the later picture they have filled out.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Georgie's nose hair all grew back so quickly. You can see he's such a little character. If i didn't live half a country away, I would of come knocking on your door! Orange boys are the best.
Picture #3: Be still my heart. <3
ReplyDeleteGeorgie is such a little MAN! SO CUTE.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has literally doubled in size in the month they've been here, Jason. And yes, Janine is right. Their bodies caught up with their heads.
ReplyDeleteThey all look so deep in thought in the first shot! Georgie, you have a right to feel proud! You've all come so far in such a short time :)
ReplyDeleteThat first shot looks like a cover for Vanity Fair...It just makes me so happy to these little babes flourishing. I think it's the L-O-V-E that fills them out so nicely.
ReplyDeleteAwww! Hold that head up high, beautiful Georgie! It is so heartwarming to see this little bunch so healthy and happy now after such a sad beginning. Thank you for all your care and love, Laurie, Craig and Bean!
ReplyDeleteI swear Georgie is smiling on the third photo.
ReplyDeleteAww, such beauties! And such lovely photos to show off that beauty!
ReplyDeleteJanine and Laurie,
ReplyDeleteI don't interact much with kittens and don't have the experience you do. No offense is intended, but it's really hard for me to see any difference. I'm sure it's there. With Clarence I think I can see something, but that could be how his head is turned. I saw his picture on 12/14 and he looks a month older and that's all my poor untrained eye can tell.
I think it's hard to judge the size of the kittens from photos. I usually think they are larger than they are and then I see one of them next to some object and realize that they're really itty bitty. These kittens I think are a little older than most batches and therefore a little bigger now that they're the right weight for their age?
ReplyDeleteSo very handsome Georgie is!
ReplyDeleteHe is smiling because his girl Charlene is just out of camera view!
oh those tangerine stripes are to die for.
