I adopted a kitten two months ago who looks exactly like this little gray boy. If you want to see how he is going to look at about six months old, pop by my blog. His name is Jimmy :-)
Ahh the cold weather! My boys love it too and so do I-- they spend cozy evenings both on my lap, each trying to get closer to Mom. Cicero crawls up my chest to knead something soft. . . and I put him back down quickly :) Silly kitty. Smooches to Marcel & Imogene (and as always, Ms. Bean)
Awwwwww...I'm all melted, which is a very pleasant sensation on a chilly night. I'm trying very hard now not to reach out with one or two fingers and give the screen a scritch!
Whenever I see these kitten piles I miss the days that my old (sadly deceased) cat would cuddle with the "baby" cat (who is now almost ten himself) all night. The baby and our middle cat can barely sleep on the same giant couch together, nevermind actual cuddling! I miss seeing kitties snuggling-- even when they're not snuggling you it makes you feel all warm inside.
Yes--growing up I always loved it when my mother let her cat in (it slept in the garage) just before I got up. He was already extremely soft (1/2 Persian show cat) and the cold made his fur stand up a bit and added even more softness.
Awww it just warms your heart when you seen them snuggling together. It's been freezing here in Scotland and when I've come home from work my two furries have been huddling together too, which they don't really do so much but seem to be getting a bit closer this year as they get older.
Oh to be a lap for them to settle on, cuddle on, snooze on. Precious.
ReplyDeleteTheir little almond shaped eyes just get to me -- makes them seem so sweetly "exotic" and always a tad serious... can't explain it... just want!
ReplyDeleteThose footsies! :)
ReplyDeleteLove cuddly kittehs! These two emit "awwws" from me.
ReplyDeletecute little munchkins!!
ReplyDeleteCute!! I'd love to see more of Imogene's markings...
ReplyDeleteSuch a pair of cuties. I love the look Marcel is giving us in the first photo. "Go away! It's too cold to play!"

ReplyDeleteCat: yes, I've seen your Jimmy, formerly Ash of Daily Dose! He looked sooooo cute in his Santa costume. :-)
