WTP?? (What the Pup)
I have been stalking the Humane Society. Everyone down there knows I'm itching for kittens, and I know they'll call when a litter arrives, but still I find myself popping down there every now and again JUST to be sure.
The other day, while I was visiting, I saw the MOST adorable litter of, NOT kittens, but PUPPIES! There were five total, and all were wiggly and squiggly with big, round bellies.
They swarmed me the second I stepped into their pen. They climbed my legs and chewed on my boots. I have to say, it was pretty awesome. (Although I would never consider fostering pups. TOOOOOO much work, and I don't think Charlene would be too thrilled with the idea, either.)
SO, as lovers of cute,,,I thought you might enjoy seeing a few pics of these adorable creatures.
Have a great Monday, everyone!

I'm a cat person, but OMG SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have been wanting a dog so badly these past 5 years (I'm a dog person at heart), and those little guys are adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteI love them all, and those are most squee-worthy pups! Look at those round little puppy tummies! So cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I can't handle it! The pup with the darker stripe down his/her nose is adorable! Very squee-worthy.
ReplyDeleteOooh so cute! I don't know am I cat or dog person, i think i'm all animal person as I can't even decide if I'll take cat or dog ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are quite adorable little woofies!
ReplyDeleteSure yeah they're cute I suppose... especially the little puppy bellies and those cutey-wooty little puppeh nosies and...
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeeee! Those little round bellies. Those sweet eyes! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! Thunk! Passed out from the cute.
ReplyDeleteThey are too cute! I'm a cat person; but, when we finally get a home of our own, we plan on getting a dog (rescued). (My husband is a dog person.)
ReplyDeleteSo not a dog person, but even I have to admit these fuzzy little stinkers are cute.
ReplyDelete"Squee-worthy"...now that's a great word! That little dude in the 1st picture musters more than enough squee-worthiness to be an honorary kitten. And round baby bellies transcend species; they're all wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNote: I recently registered a domain name & apparently that's what now comes up when I post through my Google account. But it's really still ME, NANETTE, lover and sometime namer of itty bitty kitties.
ReplyDeleteAdorable, and _almost_ as good as a new litter of kittehs!
ReplyDeletePic #4, that's some belleh!! :) Puppies *are* adorable; I have friends that have 2 dachsund / wheaten terrier mixes about 10 weeks old right now and they are crazy cute, but *way* too much work for this cat person!
ReplyDeleteThey are just darling! I'm impressed that you had your camera along to take photos of them. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm really, really happy there are no cats for you to foster right now. As much as I enjoy little furry faces, that's excellent news!
ReplyDeleteI love puppies. Thank you for these pics.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love the kitties, I'm glad there are no litters needing homes right now.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, they are cute. I bet I would like one as a little brother or sister. MUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum
ReplyDeleteBetter hope for kittens quickly, before she goes to the snake and lizard section and fosters some of those
ReplyDeleteI don't know you could always remain the blog "The temporary little tiny puppy team"

Aww...aren't they cute! Look at that plump belly! They look health and happy. I'm sure they'll find a good homes with lots of yard to play in. They look like Lab/Shepard mixes.
ReplyDeleteGood heavens, I am melting from the cute. Lifelong cat person here, but those round little tummies? The golden eyes? The pink noses? As my husband would say, "Awww, poopies!" (Yes, he's weird, that's what I love about him.)
ReplyDeleteWTP indeed!! My first pets were dogs, mutts to be exact, along with goldfish, guppies and turtles. Next were cats and my beloved Beagle, then kitties for the past 27 years.
ReplyDeleteAll of which is to say I'm an animal lover. I would *love* to bury my face in those perfectly round little puppy bellies and inhale that indescribably delicious puppy scent.
Thank you so much for this mercy post, Laurie. What a treat.
So cute! You certainly weren't kidding about the big round bellies, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove the bellies!!
ReplyDeleteI'm having some puppy love.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable! But I think you are right about Charlene. Not sure she would want to baby sit a passle of rambunctious puppies. That might turn her into a grouch over night. :)
ReplyDeleteI am totally not a dog person - never had one and never will. But yup, those sure are some cute pups!
ReplyDeleteI don't like dogs, but I adore puppies. There's something so precious about those wriggly balls of energy. Plus, they're probably the only creatures who will ever be so excited to see me that they pee their pants. ;)
ReplyDeletethey're so sweet. if you visit them again, please give them each a cuddle for me.
ReplyDeletecute overload! How sweet are they??? Thanks for sharing those little wiggling bellies of joy with us!
ReplyDeleteAdorable little furballs....so glad you don't have to housetrain them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing that there are no kittens in need of fostering right now... {whimper} I will hope for some IBKC alumni updates.....!!!!HINT!!!!
Awwww ... they are cute and lovely. We are sure they will quickly be adopted once they are ready.
ReplyDeleteOh man, the floppy little ears! The big round bellies! Like many of the commenters above, I am not a dog person, but those little pups sure are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI am an equal opportunity squee-er. Puppies, kittehs, platypuses, whathaveyou. Baby animals of any sort make me utter the most embarrassing nonsense sounds ever. :p
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the look on Charlene's face if you opened the door to the kitten room one day and puppies came out.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking how much I needed some puppy therapy, and seeing these little pups with their round bellies and moist noseys made my heart explode!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine Charlene trying to keep a litter of puppies clean!
