Our fifth kitten is a delightful Torbie girl! For those of you who don't know what a Torbie is, (we've only had two before) it's a Tabby/ Tortie combo. Tressa Lovejoy and Fiona Lively were also Torbies.
Isn't she just a living doll?
So yes, she's the fifth, but not the last. Any guesses on what number six might look like?
I've got a little poll going up there on the sidebar. Cast your vote by 9:00 AM Pacific Time, and shortly there after, I'll share a photo of kitten number six on the blog.
OH, and tomorrow is Bean's 5th birthday! So expect lots of posts and lots of birthday fun!!
This litter definitely needs a Little Black Cat.
ReplyDeleteBean got kittens for her birthday! Yeah! Okay, she has to wait, but she knows they are there. Yeah for Bean!
ReplyDeleteMy oh my, she is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteSO cute! And of course I am looking forward to celebrating The Bean's birthday here tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with Shea.
My Oh My! What an adorable litter! Can't wait to see #6. They are all just cuddlicious!
ReplyDeleteBeware the Ides of Bean!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking there's a little black kitty boy. >^.^<
Tina & The (brown) Kittyboyz
Her little nose is precious!
ReplyDeleteAnd my fingers are crossed for the sixth kitten to be a Bean mini-me or a calico!
Kitten sampler indeed! They are so lovely in their diversity.... Was momma just a popular girl on the block? :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for formal introductions.
And Happy (Early) Birthday to one of our favorite fosterers ever (besides Laurie and Craig, and Sue, of course!!) - Miss Butterbean!!!!
Would love to see a little black kitten! :) Fingers and paws crossed here! Of course, any kitten will be absolutely precious; we're just a little biased here!
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for a tuxedo kitty, just to complete the full hand of coats!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have to say that this little set was worth waiting for! What a wonderful (un)matched set!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, tiny torbie! Butterbean must be having the best birthday ever! these kittens are so precious...and more to come!
ReplyDeleteHello little beauty! You and your sibs have just got us so anxious to meet you all!
ReplyDeleteOooo I love her little fathe (lithp intentional)! :)
ReplyDeletewasn't the first one a torbie, too? looks like a tortie/tabby combo....
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of a black kitten. That would round out the group nicely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little cutie! I can't wait to see the last one and to learn all their names. Yep, Bean sure got her birthday wish!
ReplyDeleteDid somebody say "Tressa Lovejoy"? my-oh-my how gorgeous was that little girl? Truely one of the cutest in fostering history. Well, that's what I thought. Happy Birthday Bean, are you 5 now? What a fine lady and foster mum you are!
ReplyDeleteThe new family of that Torbie girl is going to be in for a treat. Equally snuggly and crazy. Fiona is the most amazing cat and I'm proud to be her mama.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a pretty, pretty little one you are my dear <3
ReplyDeleteBut, it just occured to me, all these little ones won't be out of quarantine in time for the birthday festivities, hopefully Butterbean will give up a sparkleball for them, under the door or something, since they won't be at her party!
I bet the kittens will find a way to bat a piece of kibble under the door to their 'Mama' Butterbean!
ReplyDeleteMiss Torbie is adorable - and she may be quite a heartwarmer!
If the Fortunato's were representative of a sampler pack, I'll have to vote for Siamese like Gaetano James Fortunato! However, I'd love for it to be a mini-Butterbean.
ReplyDeleteOh, with this much variety the sixth kitten has to be either a tuxie or ALL black! (BTW - a) I love this blog, and you are a wonderful person for fostering all these kitties. Of course they're supercute, but it's still a huge amount of work! and b) I thought the first kitten from this litter WAS the Bean...so I'm not predicting another Beanlet.)
ReplyDeleteCalico! Calico! To join this perfect lil torbie!
ReplyDeleteThey are all adorable, but this one and her sister from before are the ones I want to snatch up and take home with me. It's true, I have a weakness for tabbies and I'm not even trying to 12-step it.
ReplyDeleteWhile I do hope it's a "pointed kitty" (flame, chocolate, blue, whatever - they're my favourite!!), I bet tomorrow's kitten will be just as cute as his/her siblings!
ReplyDeleteThese are some really adorable kittens! Such a great birthday present for Miss Bean. Happy (day early) birthday, Charlene!!
I think it's "Butterbean's long-lost twin sister." Of the choices, that just seems very specific and descriptive, not something you came up with randomly. Although, before I saw the poll, I was thinking something black. Definitely going for the long-lost twin, though.
ReplyDeleteMy heart just melted again! Such a sweet looking kitten, I have been wanting to take one about a year now but need to find job before that :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet expression!
ReplyDeleteI love torties, so I'm voting for a dilute tortie girl! (Right or wrong, I'm sure he or she will be adorable.)
I left town for the weekend and returned to a fabulous sampler of kitteny goodness!! You definitely need a solid black boy to round out the group (and I'm going to need to send a much bigger box for you to mail them out to Michigan!)
ReplyDeleteA veritable pot-purry of kittens! It's fun to look at them and guess which ones were fathered by the same tom. I think there are two toms involved and number two and number five are almost definitely from the same Tom. I tend to think one and four are from another tom. Not sure about #3, though.
ReplyDeleteI missed the chance to vote. I would have guessed a black boy before seeing the poll options, but maybe I would have had to go with a dilute tortie out of loyalty to my lovely kitty
