It's nearing the end of their quarantine period. The kittens are getting a little restless in their room, and they're starting to get very curious about what might be on the other side of their door.
It's getting harder and harder every day to slip into their room without letting a kitten slip out. Someone is usually camped out waiting for that opportunity to escape. It's usually Linus.
OMG, I can't handle the cute. It's too much.
ReplyDeleteIt's true, the cuteness is way too much! Linus makes me want to run to my nearest shelter and get another kitten, even though I have two already, lol.
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute!
yeah, i like that linus-kitten. a lot. almost as much as i loved that sweet rhoda-kitten-now-cat.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Bella. These photos are making me want another kitten even though I already have two!!
ReplyDeleteC'mon Linus! You can do it! Just think squishy & you can squeak right under!
ReplyDeleteLaurie -
ReplyDeleteAm I right in guessing there was originally carpet in the area this picture was taken? My mother's house also has 'short' doors where carpets were removed over the years.
i want the kitty! too cute!
ReplyDeleteSo how does the first Butterbean intro go? Do you bring Charlene into the kitten room first, or do you just fling open the door to the kitten room and yell RUN!! as kittens scatter all over the house slipping and sliding with tiny legs on wooden floors?
ReplyDeleteThe picture of an escaping little cloud makes me smile! Imagine his glee when you open the door tomorrow and LET him :)
ReplyDeletehahahaha! sooooo adorables! Those 2 pics just slay me :) "open, open, open"
ReplyDeleteLinda
awwww.. Linus, you are sooo curious and soooooo cute little boy..Do not worry, you will meet Miss Bean very very soon..
ReplyDeletebtw, Laurie,the pics are fabulous..
LoL @ the think squishy comment :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Poor little Linus!
We have that problem here too when we have kittens. It is a little worse since our kittens are in the bathroom and sometimes mom trips over one in the middle of the night. Mom also said that if the door here was like that, she would spend all of her time on the floor staring at kitten faces. :)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! So adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe cuteness is overwhelming! Found your blog on the side bar of Common Ground! I burst out laughing! I'm glad most of my coworkers were at lunch at the time! I love your blog name!
ReplyDeleteI love Linus. He makes me want to fly to Seattle, set up shop temporarily, adopt him, and then bring him back to Texas so he can be friends with my little cow cat.
ReplyDeleteLike Random Felines.... I too would spend all day and all night flat on the floor, looking under the door at those sweet kitty faces.
ReplyDeleteDo any ever manage to wiggle out?
"MOM. MOM. WHERE ARE YOU GOING? MOM I'M BORED. MOOOOOOM. WHAT'S OUTSIDE? MOM HONESTLY WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN IN HERE WITH US KITTENS? MOM. MOM."
ReplyDeleteWe shut our cats down in the basement at night so they're not pestering us all night, but if I'm up late and downstairs my cats still stick their noses and paws under the door. Honest, they don't mind going downstairs, but when they know someone's up...
He's saying, "Let MEOW-T"
ReplyDelete*thud* ...."oooooh.....sorry, fainted from the cuteness."i
ReplyDeleteLinus, opening the door with the power of his MIND!
ReplyDeleteahhh, lovely little linus! i want you in my life! alas, no kitties for me. :(
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Our Meowm just wants to smooch that little face!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm REALLY surprised Linus hasn't figured out how to flatten himself so he could squeeze under the door. I'm even more surprised that Maxine or Beezus hasn't taught him how. Is it possible that the girls are the trouble makers in this bunch?
ReplyDelete'He's saying, "Let MEOW-T"'
ReplyDeleteCynthia, that is hilarious.
I cant believe that your parents havent claimed Linus so that they can have twinsies at home.
ReplyDeleteLinus is adorable! What a little imp:-)
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling Charlene is just as excited about meeting her new kittens... especially the ones with all the floof that needs extra bath time :):):) Maybe she will get to keep one or two or all of them forever? Because it was her fifth birthday?
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed an itty bitty kitty. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the little paws under all that floof!
ReplyDeleteAwww, what a curious, intrepid little cutie! Soon, Linus... VERY soon! *snorgles*
ReplyDeleteI am SO in love!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the back and front views. Linus, you're going to be quite the escape artist, I can tell.
ReplyDeleteI found this quote today and knew I had to share it here. No idea who it's from... "Kitten: a small, homicidal muffin on legs; affects human sensibilities to the point of endowing the most wanton and ruthless acts of destruction with near-mystical overtones of cuteness. Not recommended for beginners. Get at least two."
ReplyDeleteOoh Linus, you are in for a sweet surprise when you are finally allowed on the other side of that door! A sweet, loving, motherly bundle of floof awaits :)
ReplyDeleteThat little face under the door reminds me of my friend's cat. If you are behind a closed door in her house he will stick his mouth and nose in the space between the door and the floor and meow as loudly as possible.
ReplyDeleteDoes Charlene ever look under the door to watch the kittens?
ReplyDeleteYou are SO amazingly talented. Every post here is an incredible gift. I don't know how you do it, but THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteomg OMG O M G !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinus is delish and Auntie Beanie is gonna be in kitten heaven!
@Cynthia - Don't you think we could use T-Shirts with this shot, captioned with "Let MEOW-T" ?????
Oh Linus...I think I may explode!
ReplyDeletexxoo,

ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear a Linus tee shirt!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh!
ReplyDelete@KatBoxJanitor - LOL Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteDear Linus, Moulder would like to give you some piece of advise: THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE(and a big, beautiful sister too).
ReplyDeleteHas Butterbean been up to the kitten door and trying to play with Linus?
ReplyDeleteThis is too cute! Two of my fave IBKC pictures of all time!
