OMG, what a cutie!!! I adore black cats, and especially black kittens. When I saw the pics of Bean with the Medleys, I really thought that you would be keeping one for yourself--Charlene seemed so attached to them, especially Linus.
BTW, I've been lurking here for well over a year, and just love your blog--as does my hubby. Thank you for making us smile each day!
Hey, everyone.. no one said anything about keeping any kittens. This little one is a foster kitten.
I've said this before,, we're not in the market for another. It works the way we have it. Charlene seems pretty happy things are now, and we are too. It works, so why rock the boat?
The Easter Bunny must love you beyond measure, Charlene, to bring such a sweet little jelly bean. Might there be a few more in that basket? Jelly beans are small, and the Easter grass can be very floofy...
oh I hope this wasn't the only a one she found in her basket. So tiny, the eyes still blue? Charlene will let you know when she wants to keep one of the kittens. Until that time she will love 'em till they leave, then holler "NEXT!!" Happy Easter!
Thanks for clearing it up, Laurie! It does work perfectly! I hope the Bean's basket was full of wee jelly beans for us to watch grow! So precious, so tiny!
Absolutely, the best jelly beans ARE always black. But isn't this little bean precious! He/she is so teeny - still blue eyes. Can't wait to find out if there are more colors.
What a lucky girl Bean is. The Medleys were sprung from the kitten room in time for her birthday, and now the big white bunny brings her a jelly bean for Easter. I can't wait for the next holiday! Next week is Admin Prof Day, then Cinco de Mayo, then Nurses Day, and Mother's Day and Armed Forces Day.......
Hopefully there aren't so many jellybeans that our Bean will feel overwhelmed this time. Three or four is just lovely, and if they were all black, I think I would have died and gone to kitty heaven! :)
My favorite kind. "Happy Easter"

ReplyDeleteYes, it works but, uh, getting something in an Easter basket is generally a permanent thing. Cutie though.
ReplyDeleteNanette says....Looks like you made the Easter Bunny's "Nice" list after all, Charlene.
