After hours of running wildly about the house, going up and down and up and down the stairs, hiding inside boxes, chasing sparkle balls and siblings, and climbing couches and chairs, Astrid paused for a moment.
In this moment, exhausted little Astrid realized she had used up all of her energy reserves to scale her last sofa, and she knew it was time to nap.
And off she drifted, on the back of the couch.
Dear little Astrid - all tired out but oh, so sweet.

ReplyDeleteAw, adorable. Melly still does that - zooming all over the house then falling over in a heap to nap. I expected her to grow out of it, but nope.
