Well, friends. All three Easterbrooks have moved out, and moved on.
I know, it all happened so fast.
They came to us small, but were so healthy, so nothing slowed them down. AND they found homes fast too, so once they were ready, off they went.
I'll be telling their full departure story on Monday. Today, I will share with you a little Easterbrook retrospective.
Sit back, enjoy, and watch Astrid, Thurston and Norma grow from tiny tots to big kitties.
For those of you in the states, enjoy your long weekend. We have plans to take it easy, and spend a little time for the next litter to move it. The kittens are flooding into the shelter, so there won't be a wait.
Take care, everyone. Have a good weekend. Have fun, be safe. xoxo
PS The song in the movie is Goin' Over by Frazey Ford
Good luck Easterbrook kitties!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable video too. :)
happy trails to the little munchkins!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome video - they were a special group of crittens (but then each is special). Y'all do such a wonderful thing. Enjoy the short break with just Ms Beannie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely trio. So glad we got to see them get their *real* start in life with Laurie, Craig and the Bean!
ReplyDeleteSad to see them go, Norma was really becoming an even more gorgeous kitty girl!
is it just me, or was there an awful lot of yawning caught on camera?
ReplyDeletei secretly hope they all went to the same home together.
Chook - me too but Laurie said "homes" :(
ReplyDeleteJust adorable video, thanks for the lift.
Le HUGE sigh. . . We'll miss you, kitties! Happy homegoing, and keep us posted on your progress.
ReplyDeleteSnorgles for Charlene, too. Another FINE job completed.
It's great you found them homes so soon. We'll miss them, but the more kitties that are rescued the better. Enjoy yourself! We look forward to hearing about them next week!
ReplyDeleteOh my, they grew up so fast! That video made me LOL and go "awww" a lot. Looking forward to the goodbye stories - and a new little kitten family to love!
ReplyDeleteI love how one yawns, then another, yes, lots of yawns in this group. Thanks for the hard work Laurie, Bean and Craig.
ReplyDeleteYou must be so sad to see them go. I hope they will be happy in their new homes. :)
ReplyDeleteThe hardest part must be letting them go. Thanks for the video, and now to look up the music!
ReplyDeleteThis brought the biggest smile to my face! I loved this little group (well, I love them all but these guys were specialer than normal to me for some reason). We'll miss you sweet babies. Love the song too -reminds me the littlest bit of Cowboy Junkies for some reason.
ReplyDeleteOh, that video was wonderful! (And as always, bittersweet at the end...)
ReplyDeleteDear Easterbrook Babies: I'm so sad to see you go, but so happy that you're strong and healthy and ready to move on. Bye bye little ones... you know, you guys are my favorite litter EVER!! :)
Gosh, it's tiring work being a kitten judging by all the yawning it entails! It's a good thing it only makes the kitties cuter! Good luck Easterbrooks, good work Bean and family. Oh, and was that a peek into how Thurston's Michael Jackson homage photo came about just at the end there? Soo cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the movie and love the Easterbrooks! Glad they went to good homes!
ReplyDelete-Pam
