You would think that having fewer kittens would make it easier to take a group portrait.
That's not the case at all with these three.
Nope. Not so.
With this litter, I've had as many failures as attempts. So today, I bring you...
Family Portrait Failures
Just look at the camera, please.
Pssssst. Over here.
You kittens lack focus.
Now I lack focus.
ALL of you. Look this way, please. Thank you, Astrid
Sit up straight, Norma. And no funny faces. Now everybody... smile!!!
Let's say we try again later. Thank you, Easterbrooks.
What beautiful kitties! I think the family portraits are wonderful - they look like a fun bunch of kittens.
ReplyDeleteOh but the "failures" are even almost better than the "successes"! So so so cute. I think my favorite is the one where all 3 are looking in completely different directions and Norma is mid-gigunda yawn.
ReplyDeleteROFL! Thank you, Laurie, that was super cute!!
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile! Too precious. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard, I may fall out of my office chair!
ReplyDeleteWhat a squirrelly little bunch! :
ReplyDeletePatti
Augh!!! So stinkin' cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks like most of my school class pictures!
ReplyDeleteHee hee. I think these pics should be sent over to that website, Funny Family Portraits or something. :o)
ReplyDeleteok - now mom has the giggles....we wondered how many shots it took you to get the awesome ones you post. Now we know.... thank heaven for digital. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat Anne said, and throw in current family portraits. :)
ReplyDeleteif i wasn't already owned by a basement kitteh, i would totally take all three of these lovelies. focused or not.
ReplyDelete*sigh*
Gorgeous "failures" of sweet felines.
ReplyDeleteLovely kitties even if they lack an attention span
I love how Norma is just chillin' in each picture. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, these are priceless!!! I laughed out loud at these wee silly babies :) What a hoot... this post made my dull Friday afternoon at work so much more bearable!!
ReplyDeleteI'm just impressed that you got them to sit still like that in that the first place... what's your secret? Do you tape their feet to the floor? Whenever I try to take kitty pictures, they're always whipping their heads around or getting up and moving right when I take the picture, causing some insane amounts of blur.
ReplyDelete:) thanks, needed the giggles after a long day of meetings!
ReplyDeleteThe "failures" are charming. I always marvelled at your ability to get the "perfect" group shots. Now I know you must be as thankful for digital cameras as I am - we can shoot and delete at will. Imagine the film expense of days gone by! Am I aging myself?!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!
ReplyDeleteLovely :)

So what if the portraits aren't perfect - the babies are always adorable anyway!
ReplyDeleteThat last shot is definitely the punchline :) Hahah so cute.
