Charlene is mixing and mingling with the kittens now. She's as cool as a cucumber around them, but they're still getting used to her.
The other night, she was quietly roosting on the back of the chair and looking out the front window when I let the kittens out of their room. They came running out to play, and started bouncing about the room.
Sheldon discovered how to get up on the window ledge, and was so focused on climbing up there, he didn't realized Charlene was perched on the other end. When he did finally notice her, he was startled, puffed right up, and threw it in reverse....
Ohh poor Beanie! I'm sure Sheldon will come around soon.
ReplyDeleteBeep... beep... beep... beep... Back it on up, Sheldon!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the Bean will win him over in no time flat, though. :)
LOL! You could hear the gears grinding as he changed gears so fast.
ReplyDeleteI love how Charlene feigns disinterest as he backs up.
ReplyDeleteAh Sheldon, you don't know what you're missing!
ReplyDeleteOMG - that was GREAT!!! You could almost see the bubble over his head "back away slowly and maybe she won't notice me". :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Sheldon, please. The drama! The poofy furs. The arched back. I see a future for you on Broadway!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's been at least a week since I commented on a what a great cat Charlene is.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful, I love it when they back up like that! :)
ReplyDeleteLove those little flattened ears!
ReplyDeleteWhat timing to have the camera there! Poor baby! I'm sure she has given him a bath by now!
ReplyDelete"Poor" Sheldon...

Funny, funny, funny! Aww, little Sheldon, you're so big and skeery when you go all floofy. Not. And Miss Bean is the Queen of calm. Lovely.
