Does lovely Geraldine have a little boo-boo on the light-colored side of her nose right on the nostril, or is that just her markings? I sure hope, if it's boo-boo, that it heals quickly. In any case, she has just FABULOUS expressions -- such a little darling!!
Colleen.. They're about 4 weeks old now. Orphaned kittens come into the shelter all the time. Some are abandoned by their mom, discovered, then brought into the shelter. Sometimes mom is around still around, but someone finds the babies in her absence. Sometimes owners keep mama cat but surrender babies to the shelter.
The only history we have on these babies is here: http://www.theittybittykittycommittee.com/2011/06/welcome-wee-wallflower.html
SWEET!! Just look at the tips of her ears, if you please. And Geraldine is a lovely name for her! Although I might just have to keep thinking of her as Little Miss Floofenheimer... :)
I love cats and think every single one of them is beautiful, but little Geraldine is truly stunning. She and Charlene are going to have to share the "Most Beautiful Cat" crown from now on, I do believe.
Teresa, If you get Miss G., I hope you'll take one of her siblings with her. I always think the kittens are happier when they have a brother or sister with them.
She actually looks like she's grinning in that last pic. (:
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable, fluffy baby!
The half and half nose…it kills me with its cuteness :)
ReplyDeleteSo tiny yet floofy!
ReplyDeleteShe's so beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteI am head over heels in <3!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty baby!
ReplyDeleteHow old are they? And why don't these tiny kittens have a mom? Do people just scoop up kittens, without regard to mom, or have the moms gone missing?

If you make notecards with that last image, I will buy them.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little fluffy miss! Geraldine is one of my favourite "old fashioned" names, and it suits her perfectly!
ReplyDeleteHi, Geraldine!

Laura, it's a mark not a boo-boo.
Oh, good. I was hoping she didn't have a boo-boo already. Although it wouldn't surprise me to see an adventurous little kitty with a little scrape!
ReplyDeleteOh my, look at that pink tongue! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI want to squish her. Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
ReplyDeleteSquee! So cute!
ReplyDeleteAnother PURRFECT name!!
ReplyDeleteGeraldine the Gorgeous! And she is smiling in that last picture - she must know that she and her sibs have hit the foster kitty lottery!
ReplyDelete@PhoebeRaven - you got it spot on with Geraldine's grin in that last shot!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE her kitten floof. I can't imagine how this litter will get any cuter...but I am not betting against that happening!
Charlene is going to be enjoying the variety of grooming challenges the Wallflowers provide...
Aren't those some beautiful colors. Oh and with a voice like that I'm sure Geraldine could sing Motown R&B. Get her some R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
ReplyDeleteTiny smile + parti-coloured nose + floof + calico & white = The Ultimate Cuteness.

ReplyDeleteOH. MY. GOD.
ReplyDeleteCould she be ANY CUTTER?!
It doesn't matter if I had the worst day in my life - get in the IBKC and it will be 100% better.
Thank you, Lauren, Charlene, and IBK!
Oh ME~
ReplyDeleteOh MY!
I would LOVE to bring Miss Geraldine home with us on Bainbridge Island!
Is she up for adoption?
She has melted my HEART!
xo
Ha, that's my mother's name!

ReplyDeleteSerious contender for major *floof*. Thank you for sharing her beauty. ~ Aloha
ReplyDeleteAww, look at all that floof!
ReplyDeleteIf there were a contest for the world's cutest kitten, Geraldine would win. All the other kittens would be first runners up.
ReplyDeleteYou made my day! That second picture, oh my god, so cute!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, If you get Miss G., I hope you'll take one of her siblings with her. I always think the kittens are happier when they have a brother or sister with them.
ReplyDeleteOMG, tiny Geraldine, you are so floofy and beautiful! And obviously full of personality, too!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so proud and happy in that third pic. And she looks like she has an Elizabethan collar on, too!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who hears "Geraldine" and flashes back to Flip Wilson?
ReplyDeleteI have my suspicions this Geraldine is much more cuddly, even if she is as outspoken.
Geraldine is so fluffy and beautiful! I love her colours. She's rivalling Edith Furman for my favourite IBK.
ReplyDeleteI sent this along to my mom who happens to share the same name. She was also "awwwww'd" by the cuteness. =^.^=
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, Geraldine is precious! If I only lived closer...I'd have loved to put my name in to give her a home.
ReplyDeleteA year later and this is STILL my favorite IBKC post. It looks like she's smiling in the last picture, so proud of herself.
