So, this weekend I moved the kittens into the guest bedroom. They spent the first few moments tip-toeing tentatively around the room, quietly exploring every single nook. Once they figured out this big, strange space was fine, it turned into a full-on kitten jamboree!
Everyone was SO excited to be in the giant room. They ran from end to end, side to side and in the biggest circles possible. The thrill of it all made their coats poof and turned their tails to bottlebrushes. I tried hard to snap some pics, but they were all just a blur of fur so it was nearly impossible.
Miss Pearla paused for a couple of moments to catch her breath, so I did get a few shots of her all frizzed-out.
Ms. Pearla knows we need a KITTEN FIX!! Thanks Laurie and Pearla!! (OBTW, the story by itself cracks me up, I can just imagine it!!)
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could have witnessed the kitteh frenzy. I LOVE how Miss Pearla is all puffed up and excited. :D
ReplyDeleteMs. Pearla is Ms. Photogenic!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pearla baby girl! I was having such a yucky day and you just changed it in an instant! Thank you so much Laurie for all you and your family do for these precious little beings. You are very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHeavens ! isn't little Pearla the cutest kitten you've ever seen. I wish I had white boots just like hers, sigh.
ReplyDeletePearla's got some big feet to grow into. Yay KITTYROOM!
ReplyDeletetoo funny - it always cracks us up when the tiny kittens get scared of something and puff up - like that makes them scarier. MOL
ReplyDeletePearla is a very unique (to me that is) looking kitten. That little face is just so cute!
ReplyDeleteGood grief, that Perla reminds me SO MUCH of my own little Lucy, a sweet baby I fostered last summer and fell head over heels in love with. It's really good that I no longer live in WA, because I have a self-imposed two-cat limit and I would be SO TEMPTED to adopt this little ball of wonderfulness.
ReplyDeleteMiss Pearla, what sweetness!
ReplyDeleteHooray for moving into the bigger room :)
ReplyDeleteCome on kitties, hurry up and get the digestion thing sorted out so you can meet Butterbean!
Miss Pearla is fabulous in all her fuzziness.
So tiny! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Pearla :)
ReplyDeleteTwo weeks over? Aren't their itty tummies not doing good enough to meet aunty Charlene yet?
I'm so excited for them to get to experience a world larger than the bathroom. Hopefully, their poor little tummies heal quickly, because I bet the Bean would like the company.
ReplyDeleteoooh look at that little tail! So, so, so, so cute! She is so little!
ReplyDeleteoh those little white socks and that darling pink nose... Dear little Pearla, you are such a doll!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad they're not out of quarantine yet. But since they've been sick, I think you made the right decision. Bean will just have to wait. I'm sure she wouldn't want to get sick either.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update!
She looks so teeny next to the toy turtle or whatever it is!
ReplyDeleteWow - so excited! It must be something to see all five of them so poofed up like that!
ReplyDeleteGet better little ones - I know Auntie Bean can't wait to meet you! :)
Lovely little Pearla! All poofy and nothing to side-hop toward\away from.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope the bowel fairies will hear all of our requests and help clear things up...and fast! For Dear Charlene, of course!
Speedy tummy settling, babies - aunty Bean has so much to teach you. And little Pearla has quite captured my eye...her tiny squeaks, her wittle body her soo cute face. Blessings! And oh yeah, floofy they are SO much scarier...
ReplyDeletehaha, this is amazing. i can really see the excitement! how cute!
ReplyDeleteWhile I love all the Kitties, Miss Pearla hsa captured my <3!
ReplyDeleteOh no! So sorry about the still upset little tummies, and loss of precious Bean Time. Come on, babies, you can do it! *get well snuggles*
