New Kid on the Bank
I don't think our newest little phone bank volunteer is ready, do you?
While she gets up to speed, let's try making our donations online.
Please visit our FUNdraising page to make your tax-deductible donation in honor of this new little arrival.
And YES, we'll be auctioning off the naming rights to this litter, both first names AND the surname too. So, if you're thinking about jumping in, starting think of a good name now! That will all start up this weekend.
I need to take a couple of days off from the auction listings because newbies are always so much work. Once they're settled in, we'll get back with more art, The Tea with the Bean, and the naming rights too! We've got lots of live auctions still going on. Please visit our Ebay page and check them out. We've got a couple of prints ending in a couple of hours.
ALSO, I've been busy preparing for a special event - Cheezburger Field Day. If anyone is planning to come, I'll be one of the speakers. I'll be bringing a crate of "special guests" with me, and the telethon set too!
Don't worry we'll have the Dearborn departure tale soon. It's a long story, and things are absolutely crazy busy around here, I just haven't had the time to write it all out. Please stay tuned for that.

What a beauty! Get some rest yourself.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Orson! I shall think of her as Orsina:)
ReplyDeleteShe does have a slight 'deer in the headlights' look on her face. You don't see a lot of black and white kitties with blue eyes. Do you think they will stay blue?
ReplyDeleteHello little baby! I think you did a lovely job on the phones for one so young. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your siblings.
ReplyDeleteWanna kiss that fuzzy face!
ReplyDeleteAwwww look at that cute lil booboo! If she is one of flying felines from the previous post then it looks like Laurie and the Bean will have their hands/paws full.
ReplyDeletePoor baby looks a little overwhelmed by the new job. Guess she'll need a little time to settle in.
ReplyDeleteShe's saying "Am I gonna get my picture on the internet? Really? Li'l ole me's gonna be famous!"
ReplyDeleteOoooh what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteNo worries Laurie - take your time. :)
Yes, the sweet girl does look a bit dazed but the more I stare into those baby blues... she appears wise beyond her weeks.
ReplyDeleteI hope my little bundle of joy (who will come home with me tomorrow) will be this personable! I think she will be....
ReplyDelete"What??" "I have to do what??" "I'm supposed to say what???"
ReplyDeleteConsidering the "flight" pictures earlier, I hope somebody bids to name them the McDonnell-Douglass family.
ReplyDelete"But.. but... I didn't sign up for this!"
ReplyDelete:)
what a GORGEOUS kitten!
ReplyDeleteMcDonnell-Douglass? I was thinking more of the Flying Wallendas, myself.
ReplyDeleteAnd kitten-blue eyes are about the cutest thing around.
NeeNee, it looks to me like they are in the process of changing from blue to whatever color they will be.
ReplyDeleteOMG, what a face! Totally a female Orson or Roland. Gorgeous! And I bet she's a tiny devil too! I love her already.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of you Seattleites! I've seen the Cheezburger days before, but this one is beyond compare. I follow almost all those people's blogs! Darn it all!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree Elaine, I'm down here in Phoenix and I am considering buying a plane ticket, I would so love to go . . .
ReplyDeleteI like The Boeings for a last name. This little lady has a beatiful face. The kind that makes a huge mess and gleefully blames a sibling for it all the while slooowwllyy blinking those big eyes of hers....
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty baby! I can hardly wait to find out what the names will end up being for this one and the rest of the little family!
ReplyDeleteAnd phooey, darn, drat -- I'm going to be in Seattle a week and a half too late to go to the Cheezburger Field Day! I have really bad timing, clearly!
Wot a beautiful little baby! Welcome to you sweetie, and to your siblings, who I'm sure we'll meet soon!
ReplyDeleteThose eyes!
