First, let's take another look at her sweet little face.
And check out the little smudge on her chin.
And now the name.
This is Cheryl McGillicuddy.
Robyn's named this little miss. She's named after Robyn's mom, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last month.
Here's what Robyn had to say...
"Since she was the one who really gave me my love of cats from the time I was a wee sprog, I think it would be nice to name a kitty after her."
I wholeheartedly agree, Robyn. And I'm sure Cheryl McGillicuddy is proud to be the namesake of your dear, kitty-loving mom.
Hugs to you, Robyn. We are sorry for your loss.

What a lovely tribute to your mom, Robyn. Speaking as a mom I'd be delighted to be remembered in a similar way. Cheryl McGillicuddy, you are just precious.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fitting tribute! A beautiful special kitty and your Mom sounds like she was a beautiful special woman. My sympathies on your loss.
ReplyDeleteLove the nose and the chin smudge - and jeez Laurie - what do these kittens do - follow your instructions for posing? LOL.
She is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom 15 years ago and though this sounds hard to believe right now, there will come a day that when you think of your mother it will bring a smile to your face instead of tears. She will always be with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous baby girl, I just love those 2 tone noses. Penny (my avatar girl) has one and I have to boop it at least once a day.

ReplyDeleteI sure hope this trio of beauties goes together to their furever home. Can you imagine the sheer happiness of having three lovely sisters, soft as bunnies running around your house? I can....even though I have two darlings already...I can imagine it. And it makes me want a bigger house, right this instant. :)
Oh my she is a little cutie! And a lovely tribute too =^..^=
