Well, friends. We're nearing the end of the Batsel chapter. This week, all the babes had their itty bitty bits removed. Two of the Batsels have found their homes and we're getting close to finding a place for the others. So soon, we'll be waving bye-bye to all the Batsels.
I know it seems so soon but when they moved in, there wasn't too much growing left to do.
It sure has been nice getting to know this floofy little bunch. I'm grateful for every minute I've had with them. I hope you feel the same.
So soon? It always feels too soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful when babies find their forever homes and can start their new life with their family... but it's always so hard to say goodbye.
Good luck little ones, we'll miss you.
Wow. So soon? I feel like they just got here.
ReplyDeleteOTOH, that means that another family of kitties will have the benefit of Bean-training and Laurie-love and all that goes with it. At this time of year, that's a blessing.
So good luck to the Batsels in their furever homes! I know they'll have wonderful lives.
This one feels really really soon!
ReplyDeleteSad they're leaving - really enjoyed seeing all antics and floofiness. Can't wait to hear their parting stories.
Too soon, too soon. How wonderful that they are getting forever homes. Hope they don't miss their itty bitty bits too much.
ReplyDeleteOh dear floofy Batsels! You will be so missed--we barely knew you. But I'm so pleased two of you already have your forever homes. Are you going together or on your own, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteOhhhh this is TOOO soon. I hope the floofy tabby brothers go together :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd be OK with this but I made a bunch of tears when I looked at today's pictures......
ReplyDeleteOh! I was looking forward to more circus antics, but I'm glad there are already homes lined up for these cuties! I just wish it was with me, heehee!
ReplyDeleteI think little Priscilla just snoozing to the side there may be in the top 5 cutest things EVER!
It always feels like too soon when the circus packs up to move to the next town!
ReplyDeleteAlready?? We are sure those adorable faces will be charming families of their own in no time!!
ReplyDeleteIs it too much to hope for that perhaps Opal will finally get to take one of the IBKCs home? Maybe her darling, Clifford?
ReplyDeleteNo no no!! It can't be!! I think you mis-read the scale, Laurie. All that floof got in the way. I'm sure the darling Batsels aren't due to leave for at *least* another three or four months. Really. Spenser and Maren agree w/me.
ReplyDeleteOh and ...
ReplyDeleteHear that? That's the sound of Laurie's ceramics breathing a sigh of relief.
But...but...but why??? I agree with Lynda - did you properly account for the "floof factor" when reading the scale? Surely there are still some lessons Bean has to teach the bitty Batsels? Like, not to play with ceramics, and to demand belly rubs anytime one is belly-up, and, well I am sure there are others.
ReplyDeleteOh well, if off they must go I eagerly await tales of their furever homes.
Sigh. I get so attached so quickly. Bless their floofy bellies. I hope they all go in pairs. Please fill us in on their adoption stories!
ReplyDeleteIt's always hard to see them go. I'm particularly attached to these Batsels. I've mentioned this before but Claudius is the very image of my (almost-grown!) Lily at that age, and it has been like watching her grow up all over again. If there was any way for me to scoop him up, along with, say, Priscilla, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I'm so glad that two have found homes already and I'm sure the others will be placed before we know it. They're a special bunch among special bunches.
ReplyDeletePatricia S., I totally agree about the crazy cuteness of Priscilla, with her little peepers buttoned up tight in all but the last pic... too sweet.
ReplyDeleteThese Batsels are an adorable bunch, that's for sure... I'm sure glad we got to know them!!
I hope when they go to their forever homes, their mommies will also blog about them.
