Yup there sure is - my cats love it - there is also paint for cats made by the same company. Is that Clifford showing off his skills? He may get a high score.
My 15 year old cat LOVES Paint for Cats. It is almost impossible to use my iPad when she's around because she has to be right in front of the screen to look for the mouse. It would be annoying, but the Old Lady gets to do whatever makes her happy.
oh laurie! yes! an app for cats.. freakin' brilliant.. at least that's what my sweet bilal thought when he was younger: http://www.llam.rivervision.com/wp/?p=15 .. and sweet shlomo liked it some.. but not as much as bilal.. he even likes it on the phone, but it's much better on the fruity tablet. and the cool thing about the fruity tablet, which i didn't expect? doesn't scratch easily!
The Gorilla Glass on the fruity tablet is pretty darned resilient. I don't have a problem letting my clawed cats play with it, they haven't scratched it or my phone.
I will have to try this game out; they thought the virtual koi pond was dull, but I think they'll like the speedy movement of the laser pointery one.
I downloaded the Friskies free app for cats, My two looked, batted at it a bit and that was all. Blanco is a looker not a pouncer, well he is 13 and Commadore only goes after critters or string.
My parents just bought an iPad! I'll have to suggest they look for apps like this, although I have my doubts about whether our cats will deign to play with them. Groucho will just run away if we try to get close to him (he's a mite skittish), and Mathilda will probably just glance at it in a bored manner and flounce away.
Well done, kids! I love the little firework explosions whenever you "get" one. very cute. and can i also say that while i can read all about Kisses on her site, I can't leave a comment, but she is not alone!
Barbarella - GMTA! I'm glad you submitted the video, and I hope we get to see it on Cuteoverload - I think the CO folks will really get a kick out of it!
Awww. The cuteness kills me <3
ReplyDeleteI may have to buy an IPad--but only if it comes with kittens too!
ReplyDeleteI see a lot of batting, a lot of pawing, some strategic repositioning. I see the effort being put forth. But the real question is, are they SCORING!!!
ReplyDeleteawesome :)
ReplyDelete... but but but ... what about tiny little claws on the screen!?
Yup there sure is - my cats love it - there is also paint for cats made by the same company. Is that Clifford showing off his skills? He may get a high score.
ReplyDeleteOooh, stop teasing the kittens- poor little dudes need something to sink their claws into! (but it is very entertaining to watch :))
ReplyDeleteMoe wasn't interested in that one...but he LOOOOVes the virtual koi pond -- and drowning the dragonfly ;-)

ReplyDeleteNo offense, but one of the boys looks as if he's scoring a lot more often than the other. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteCynthia look at the top right of the screen - The number is about 2300...
ReplyDeleteI thought it could be the Batsels... Hehe they are having fun!
Hm...so does this mean I should get an iPad for my cats, and then borrow it from them?

ReplyDeleteMartin's right. These guys are playahs. Great score!
ReplyDeleteI love how they take turns I tried it with my 7 year old. She just mewed "meh" -msybe it is a kitten thing.
ReplyDeleteWhoops - make that 17 year old kitty. She's young at heart, but proud of every one of her 17 years and being a senior kitty!
ReplyDeleteNow I feel old -- and behind the 8 ball, or rather, computerized laser point. Who knew even kitties could be so high tech?
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll have to save my pennies for an IPad just to keep my babies up to speed with the technology!

ReplyDeleteHow adorble!
ReplyDeleteOMC! If ony mom and dad had a tablet!
ReplyDeleteThe only reason I would ever need an iPad - the most expensive cat toy ever.
ReplyDeleteomg, it actually keeps score for them, too!! that is too cute!
ReplyDeleteThis one had to be submitted to Cuteoverload!!!! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBarbarella - GMTA! I'm glad you submitted the video, and I hope we get to see it on Cuteoverload - I think the CO folks will really get a kick out of it!
ReplyDeleteHehe :)
ReplyDeleteAww, they play so nicely with each other. I'm not an iPad owner; I'm impressed it's durable enough to subject to kitty paws.
