Just wonderful! I know that there are a lot of really good things in this world...but, kittens are WAY up at the top of the list. Thanks for all the goodness that you send to us.
I see that Kenneth already knew ALL the answers! He was just guiding your papa's hand, telling him, 'No, no! The answer is...' What a smart kitteh he is!! :o) IMMD!!
Long time lurker, first time poster. This reminded me so much of my 16-year-old childhood cat, Rocky -- my brother, really -- who read the paper with me the second week he was home, just like Kenneth is doing with the Kitten Whisperer here. Rocky was orange and white too, and ever so kooky.
I love this site and the beautiful photos ... I am a cat lady for life.
I loved the last photo! Kenneth was trying to tell the Kitten Whisperer that 11 down was "Noms" while 21 across was "Tuna"! I think the past picture would make an awesome card!!!! hint, hint
Absolutely adorable! What I'd love to know is - did Tilda Tortellini end up on your Dad's shoulder after making a brief appearance in photo #6? It looks like the kitten magnet attracted more than just Kenneth during this crossword session! Too cute!
You are so talented with your photography, Laurie -- you tell the best stories with just your photos! Thanks for sharing all the kitteny goodness, as well as the Kitten Whisperer's magic (and magician's assistant!) with us! Kenneth is a great helper, I'm sure. With just about anything. Hee!
Now, Craig looks pretty good covered in kittens, and Teho provided some ease on the eyes with his kitten-covered guest appearance, but your Dad is the hands down winner for rocking a kitten accessory. I nom-inate him for Mr. January in the Men of IttyBittyKittyCommittee calendar. Did he bring pictures of Nigel and Mimsy? We want to see :)
Your dad absolutely slays me, the way he is with kittens. Maybe Nigel and Mimsy want a little brother?
ReplyDeleteThat is so darling...made me smle. First time today. xo
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your Dad is enjoying the kittens Kenneth, though, is easily distracted by pens and other kitty tails.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable.
42 across is "POUNCE".
ReplyDeleteWhat a good helper Kenneth is!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I didn't expect the last shot, but it's purrfect :)
ReplyDeleteI love that these babies get a chance to learn "proper" cat behavior from experts like your dad!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of your best photo essays ever.
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh out loud -- for a good long time... :)
ReplyDeletePicture #3: "What...?", says Kenneth. "I'm helping -- I'm helping!!"
Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHA. Last one made me laugh out loud. Literally. Startled my kitty. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat!
I just saw the last picture--so perfect! All of them are adorable--you have a great Dad.
ReplyDeleteJust wonderful! I know that there are a lot of really good things in this world...but, kittens are WAY up at the top of the list. Thanks for all the goodness that you send to us.
ReplyDeletehow adorable! (kenneth and the kitten whisperer both) -- and the last photo made me laugh out loud. <3
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful post to come home to.
ReplyDeletePurrrr indeed!

Wow!! I was impressed that Dave was doing the puzzle in ink, but the last shot showed me I needn't have worried - he knew all the answers.
ReplyDeleteAs for Kenneth, what a precious ... helper?
WONDERFUL!!! Kenneth was dictating his answers to the Kitten Whisperer. And Dave, the KW got all of the correct so far!!!
ReplyDeleteI see that Kenneth already knew ALL the answers! He was just guiding your papa's hand, telling him, 'No, no! The answer is...' What a smart kitteh he is!! :o) IMMD!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful! Brought a smile and a chuckle. Thanks Laurie, Kenneth and furry little precious ones.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the cuteness! Your dad is so great with the kittens.

ReplyDeleteSoooooooo funny! I think your Dad needs his own website. I could look at him covered in kittens all day. Makes me laugh!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, utterly adore this post. Had to send the link on to my dad, who's a crossword kind of guy too.
ReplyDeleteI want to bear-hug your dad. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe this post - as if anyone could have a cross word with Mr. Kenneth Basildon St. John Wiggins!
ReplyDeleteAnyone ever say you Dad looks like Mr Scott (James Doohan)? Or is it just me?

ReplyDeleteI love kittens who help!
ReplyDeleteCharming! Thanks, Laurie. A nice ending to the day.
