It's almost time to say goodbye to our little brood. We've got all their homes squared away, except for Kenneth's. We've had a couple of promising leads that just didn't pan out, and so our boy finds himself still in search of his forever family
.
He's awesome. He's a lovey-dovey doughy boy and he's looking for a good family who appreciates kittens with freckles and loud motors. He would like a buddy, and prefers a home with a young cat or kitten playmate.
So, if you live in the Seattle-Tacoma and can offer a wonderful home to this loving little fellow, please send an email to kittywrangler(at)gmail(dot)com and tell us a little bit about yourself.
Don't worry, Kenneth. They'll be here soon.
We love the sweet boy! We need a jet plane!
ReplyDeleteI have loved little grandpa Kenneth from your first photo of him. I dearly wish we were in your area, or that y'all were in ours. Alas, we are near Nashville.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you do for all these dear kitties. You're getting your reward on earth even BEFORE you get to heaven!
Please give Ms. Charlene our best. HarryCat, who is a Siamese mix with snowshoe coloring, has a big Internet crush on her. Prrrrr!
*GASP* No! I can't believe he isn't taken! Such a floofy little darling!
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone resist such a fluff ball?
ReplyDeleteWow...time flew so FAST!!!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't eeven get the 'early warning' yellow tags this time....((sigh))
Kenneth is such a dreamy fluffer boy...his people will be 'here' soon, I amsure.
I don't believe it! How has this young floofy gentleman not be snatched up already?
ReplyDeletekittywranger(at)gmail(dot)com should be kittywrangLer(at)gmail(dot)com... Don't want Kenneth to miss out because of a missing L... :D
ReplyDeleteMarmalade splotch tabbies are the best!
Oh, how I wish my sister in Seattle's cat wasn't (a) older and (b) seriously cranky and refuses to let other cats in the house -- she could adopt Kenneth, and even though he wouldn't be mine, at least I could come visit him! You can be sure that when Satomi crosses the Bridge, I'll be sending my sister to you to find her new family members, however. And I'll be sure I'm visiting when she does. :)
ReplyDeleteKenneth, don't worry, your perfect family is just running a bit late. They'll find you soon, promise!
So soon? they always leave too soon. Kennith should go with your dad. The frosts need a 3rd I am sure!
ReplyDeleteAwww! I love Kenneth. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky. There's nothing better than a lovey-dovey goofy boy kitty. Especially a splotchy one.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Kenneth. That orangey freckle on your nosey is irresistible. Your forever family will find you very soon.
ReplyDeletePlus he can do crosswords! Who wouldn't want a kitten like that? ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore his freckles! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh yes I agree with Heather Moore, don't forget he does crosswords, and makes an excellent nap buddy!
What a handsome smudgeface!
ReplyDeleteHe's such a gorgeous boy, and since I have freckles, I have to love them.
ReplyDeleteSomeone will be by shortly, I know it.
How could anyone resist him, he is so bonnie. He has the sweetest face.
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't in Maine I'd snatch that cutie up in a heartbeat! How can anyone resist such a floofy creamsicle colored boy?
ReplyDeleteHow can it be that such a lovely boy hasn't got his home yet? It's a shame he can't go with a brother or sister but I know you will find him the perfect place. He is completely irresistible. This litter is a particularly fine one. I will miss seeing their lovely faces, legs, tails, etc.
ReplyDeletePoor dear, he is so sweet and alone! I hope his family gets there soon. What happened to his siblings? Do tell us their stories!
ReplyDeletePoor baby, hope he finds a lovely forever home soon. :)
ReplyDeleteOnce again living on the East Coast interfers with my plans to scoop up a kitten...and such a lovely orange & white bundle of floof he is!
ReplyDeleteNobody's left yet. I've just found homes for 3/4 of them.
ReplyDelete@ Sam - there are definitely many kittens on the East Coast looking for forever homes! Just because they aren't on IBKC doesn't mean they aren't adorable little fluff balls.
ReplyDelete...but Kenneth is a particularly adorable little fluff ball, and I am sure his family is right around the corner.
Oh!! If only I could have Kenneth!!! I do love him so... **sniff**
ReplyDeleteNow, on another note... I would like to submit an (unsolicited) hearty endorsement for the Charlene-approved sparkle balls that are available on this site. My almost-18 year old girl has been batting those balls around like crazy ever since I got them a few months ago -- it is SO fun to watch her gallop from one end of my place to the other, and to see her running around with one in her mouth. I had tacked the sparke balls on to a postcard order just for fun, not really expecting my old girl to like them, because she's never really shown much interest in balls or round objects of any sort. But she LOVES the sparkle balls... there's just something about their size and heft that makes them work really well. Sorry for the long paragraph, but I just wanted to report on this very important matter!! :)
Laurie- Do you expect to get in more sparkleballs? I was so keen to get them for my 17 year old "can't be bothered with toys" kitteh after reading HeidiK's comment, only to find they are marked 'sold out'. I'd love to see this old girl batting a toy again!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, kisses to Kenneth - don't worry little boy - your family will be here real soon and they will be just perfect for you!
[moving to Tacoma STAT]
ReplyDeleteI love the review by Heidi K about the sparkle balls. It's convinced me to keep an eye on the IBKC store to see when they're back in stock.
ReplyDeleteOh Kenneth....wish I could adopt you. I heartily concur with the others that your family is just around the corner. Hang in there, buddy!!
These are the SADDEST posts. One of these days you are going to have to expand the adoption area!! Kenneth, you are worth moving to Seattle for. But someone out there is just waiting for YOU!!
ReplyDeleteOh how much I'd like to be this little guy's family. He is looking directly into my soul. But we know our two residents won't take to this too kindly. We brought a kitten home last year that we found in a forest and it wasn't so good - kitten had to go live with my boyfriend's mom. Sigh. I love you without even meeting you, Mr. Kenneth Wiggins.
ReplyDeleteA kitten who helps with crossword puzzles?? I'd take him in an instant if I could!
