@this space: we're getting some this weekend, so hopefully in a month I can see some positive results. The seven year old, he's sweet and patient and he's respecting our 12 year old's space, but she's just so anti-social and shy... :(
And it's true, Tilda. It really is okay, and Charlene really is your friend. I haven't said this in a while, but Charlene is the most beautiful cat I've ever seen. And she's downright hospitable, too.
Precious. Auntie Charlene is so perfectly at ease in her chair (on her throne?), and allows Tiny Tilda to approach her for that all-important first sniff/kiss. "Made of awesome" indeed. :)
Hi I am new to your blog/site and just joined your site! Are you a sponsor with the SPCA or your own shelter?? How ever you save all these sweet faces I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am on the way to pick up a new fuzzy face tomorrow, that will bring us back up to four and hubby says no more. I wish I had some land to have a facility but for now I just thank wonderful people like you who save them. Thanks ever so much. Come see me, Lillyslace.blogspot.com-xo-cindy
Oh that brings a tear to my eye!
ReplyDelete@Hellion, me too! So sweet.
ReplyDelete*heart melts*
ReplyDeleteWe're trying to integrated a 7 yr old kitteh in our house now. Unfortunately, our 12 yr old kitteh isn't happy with the newcomer... :(
that nose-kiss is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteCharlene, you are wonderful with the little ones. What a beautiful little greeting with Tilda!
ReplyDeleteN'awww. :) Enjoy your kitten food while you can, Beanie.
ReplyDeleteCygnia: It's not always easy with the older cats. Wonder if Feliway might help.
awwww - love watching those kittens try to be scary and then discover it isn't working. :)

ReplyDeleteThis melts my heart. They are incredible and I love the nose touch. I dream of touching both of their noses like that.
ReplyDelete@cygnia Is she threatening him or just hiding?
ReplyDeleteAwww! A nose kiss for Tilda from the fabulous Bean! Tilda, the Bean will teach you everything a kitten needs to know.
ReplyDeleteThe Bean is always so laid back and patient with kitties and it never ceases to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteThat...is...adorable.

ReplyDelete@this space: Hiding, with some hissing and mowling. Neither cat has attacked each other, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteI love this blog!!
ReplyDeletewish more people loved animals like we do..
It's a rainy, gloomy day where I live, and this was like a ray of sunshine. Charlene, you are the best friend a kitten could ever have!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is just too precious! I'm betting it rarely takes very long for the kittens to realize Charlene is made of awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! Charlene is amazing with the kittens.
ReplyDeleteaw...the little one was so afraid....sort of cute.
ReplyDeleteeeeek, love the nose-kiss :)
ReplyDeletehow long did it take from photo 1 to photo 2?
@Lily - That is the perfect description of Charlene. Made of awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat a touching moment. <3

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I think one of my most favorite things in the world is a puffed tail, especially on a kitten.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: Puffed tails are great, but what really kills me is a kitten who's juts figured out how to hiss for the first time.
