Another Day, Another Dearborn!

Gasp!

Oh my, Marla!  You are a ravishing beauty!

From Marla's mom, Julia....

Isn't she beautiful? :) She's grown into a very sweet, loving, happy little girl. She's very busy, and spends a good amount of time monitoring the birds and neighborhood going-ons. She also enjoys displaying her marvelous belly and batting at feet. After chasing lasers and cat dancers, she likes to snuggle and get chin scratches. Squares of sunshine for napping are also popular, as is a freshly laundered basket of clothing. I completely adore her.

It's always so great to see our IBKs thriving in their forever homes. It's clear this is one happy, healthy girl.   Nice work, Mama Julia!

Thanks so much for sharing your girl with us again!

And in case anyone has forgotten what a cute little bug she was, here you go....

  4. Lord, she's grown into a raving beauty, hasn't she? It is a wonderful belly and deserves all forms of worship when it is displayed. Pretty girl!

  5. It's amazing, as kittens their faces are all kinda similar, but then they grow up and they look completely different from each other. Phoebe is amazing. Little urchin stuck in a wall by herself to a long sleek beauty. Now look at Marla- such big green eyes she has!

Okay, I am a broken record. Any word from Norman's forever home? I'd love to see Norman's eyes, and how floofy he's grown up to be. Such a sweet young man. *sigh*

  9. Wow! I loved Marla the Kitten because she had markings just like my 17 year old...now that she is Marla the Teen, she has grown into her markings and reminds me even more of Cagney...and I so appreciate the "busy" description - just like Cags. Maybe it is a tortie and white thing? And it looks like she loves her family and is loved so much in return! She will always have a special spot in my heart, and I hope we will keep getting updates on her!

    1. It's gotta be a Tortie/White thing...my 5 yr old Ginger is into everything, gotta know what is going on, we call her Miss Nibbynose...but she is the first one to roll over and give me her belly to rub ;o)

  11. Marla is just as beautiful as her sisters! Such a gorgeous tummy -- makes me want to bury my face in it and give her a big ol' raspberry! :) And it's so nice that the families who have adopted these babies understand how much we all love them and want to see updates as they grow up, so thanks to Marla's people for sharing her with her adoring fans.

  12. Marla is a beauty. It looks like she a fluffy tail--I wonder if it is as long as her sisters' tails. And is that a special cat shelf in the first picture? My cat would love one of those...anyone know where to buy?

  14. I am loving Alumni week! Nice to see Marla's Mom has invested in cat spoiling toys! A happy beauty she is! So good to see.

  15. Judging from those solid-looking legs and great big feet, Marla might yet grow a good deal. And she's clearly a very with-it young miss!

  16. Marla is gorgeous! It looks like her mama is spoiling her properly too (not that one can spoil a cat-they just get what they deserve, LOL).

Thank you for the update, Julia and for sharing it, Laurie!

  17. Bonus points for having a kitty ledge near the ceiling so she can survey her domain!

  18. What a lovely young ladycat! She is so confident that she shares her belly with us - her gorgeous belly.

  20. Ooh!!! Magnificent and "busy" Marla!! That part of Julia's comment cracked me up :)

  21. She is so beautiful. I love the Dearborns and am really pleased to see their grown up photos. Miss Marla was beautiful then and is beautiful now.

  22. A beauty, indeed, and what a spoiled little princess to boot - look at her lolling and lounging among all those toys and kitty accoutrements. She's living the life my tortie cat Penelope can only dream of, i.e., that of a spoiled only child. Heh heh. Some cats do NOT want to share their humans and I have a feeling Marla might be one of those.
