Recognize these beauties? It's Camille and Betty June Suprenant (now known as Riza and Mei)!!!
Joy, their mama, took these lovely shots of her lovely girls. She says they're "happy, healthy and increasingly chatty".
They truly are stunning, aren't they? And as close as can be. Just like they were when they were little ones.
Here are a couple more shots of Riza and Mei as tiny tots. No surprise they grew up to be such beautiful girls.
Thanks for sharing your grown-up girls with us, Joy! They look amazing.
What gorgeous girls!
ReplyDeleteI love the one of the two of them perched together :)
ReplyDeleteThey've grown-up into such beautiful cats.
thanks for sharing the update!
They are beautiful and look very self-satisfied and content with their life!
ReplyDeletep.s. to Joy: I really dig your bedroom color palate!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, their furry beauty took my breath away! All the happiness in this post warmed me on this Friday morning. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe shot before the 'group' shot - You come up here, no you come down here. Rocks papers scissors... okay, fine, you win...
ReplyDeleteaww they look so plump and happy. i LOVE the grownup kitten pictures. You really should do a book IBKC and grads!

It almost looks like the house has been painted specifically to set off their eyes and coats. I wish I knew how to photograph like this!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely girls--they look so pretty together and so happy. Thank you so much for sharing these pictures.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the hover text for the photos. What did Mei do to earn "Crankypants"?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what beautiful kitties! The eye color is just stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat sleek, beautiful ladycats!
ReplyDeleteI've raised a number of pairs of kittens in my day, and none of the sister/sister teams I've known has stayed as close and loving as the brother/sister and brother/brother ones. I'm so glad Riza and Mei have stayed friends!
Also, Mei's baby picture looks like Crankypants, Jr.!
ReplyDeleteawwww - love that last picture of the "grown ups"....so cute
ReplyDeleteOoh.. I love their cat tree. Where is that from?
ReplyDelete+1 on the cat tree! Who made it?
ReplyDelete+2 on the source of the cat tree. It's beautiful (as are the kittehs)
ReplyDeleteAlumni to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteOh did they grow up pretty! Gorgeous eyes!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely ladies! Their coloring has changed so much since they were kittens and yet they still look the same. Love the alumni pics.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous girls! They're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the bed linens from? I kind of need those!
They are gorgeous girls - and a great illustration of the need for kittehs to be adopted together. Thanks for letting us see these grown-up beauties!
ReplyDeleteRiza and Mei appreciate all the love. (Mei is very opinionated at all times--even for a cat--which is why she sometimes earn the name Crankypants.)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the cat tree is from Mountain Cat Trees, and the patterned quilt is from West Elm. :)
Riza and Mei have fulfilled their beauty potential for sure!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pic with them both perched together...a lofelong 'tight fit'
Seeing the lovely ladies now and as adorable kittens made my day so much brighter.

You take beautiful pictures of your girls too. I see that Riza, like the Bean, got a touch of the cross-eyed gene (which is related to the same mutation that causes the point coat color in Siamese cats. It's actually a pretty interesting mutation, the enzymes that are needed to produce melanin don't work at the right body temperature of the cat, so only the colder extremities are pigmented. I wonder if Riza and Bean get darker in winter?)
ReplyDeleteWow - these two were gorgeous as little kitties but they grew into beautiful girls! Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing these stunning photos.
ReplyDeleteAnon - Riza got darker as she got older, but it hasn't changed much with the seasons over the past year. Then again, summer in Tacoma was sort of a joke in 2011.
ReplyDeleteJoy, I'm happy to see that you've got my mother's penchant for decorating to match the cats! They have the most lovely blue and green eyes.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has a lynx-point mix like yours and her house is all done in sky blue and pink and taupe and cream. The cat may as well be wearing camouflage. :)
They're gorgeous! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat everybody else has said and one more, WOW, THEY ARE GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteLove the cat tree and checked out the website - the girls are models in a couple of pics. Very nice. They are beautiful and obviously feel safe, happy and well loved in their furever home. Well done Joy!
ReplyDeleteOh, aren't they lovely, and don't they look sleek and happy and loved!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
I'm still wondering how it's possible for anything to be as beautiful as those two cats!
ReplyDeleteThere eyes are amazing, it's like they are trying to take in the whole world in one quick scan. Also I love the third picture, it looks like one of those 'telepathic' moments shared by close siblings. A 'are you thinking what I'm thinking' moment.
ReplyDeleteRiza and Mei...Names don't happen to come from Fullmetal Alchemist, do they?
ReplyDeleteJoy, thank you so much for sharing. I love alumni pics and these are wonderful. I have to admit I would love to plunge my face into their magnificent neck fur for a snorgle!
ReplyDeleteAnon - Yes, they do! You may be the only person who has ever guessed that all on their own.
ReplyDeleteWell, they've certainly grown from two adorable little kittens into two beautiful, sleek and elegant cats. You must be so darn proud!
