It's Butterbean's Birthday!!

Today dear Charlene celebrates her birthday!  It really is hard to believe that our Bean has turned six.  It just doesn't seem possible that so many years have passed since that tiny, floofly girl came into our lives.

I'm so grateful she did.

She's such a special girl, and I honestly can't imagine our world without her.

She's so goofy, sweet, bright, and engaged and the way she mentors our tiny charges,  just melts my heart.

Bean is one in a million, and I am so thankful that the Universe sent her our way.

Happy Birthday, Bean!   We love you!!

Now, let's start the day off with a little birthday cake!!




The "cake" was decorated with her favorite treat in the world, Science Diet kitten food.   Kitten food is off limits the other 364 days of the year, but today is her day, so we're letting her indulge.

    

And presents!!
We gave her some new sparkle balls, of course, and a couple of cute little cat nip toys.




And a new collar!



But the best gift of all is a little batch of babies!!!!!   YES!  KITTENS!!!!!  How perfectly timed is that??!!   Kittens were on the very top of Charlene's birthday wish list.

 I have yet to meet them, and won't until this evening,  but I hear they are QUITE adorable.  I'll be posting a peek of the new little litter bright and early tomorrow morning.
