See!
We call this move "signaling the mothership". She used to do it frequently as a kitten, but I haven't seen her do it in years.
And to this day, I still have no idea why she does it.
Tune in tomorrow for lots of birthday fun!!!

thats adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwwww ... so cute and adorable! xx
ReplyDeletetoo funny!
ReplyDeleteteeheeheee! oh beanie, you are too cute. <3
ReplyDeleteNot only is Charlene fantastic, you and Craig are too. Who else would know to give that move the perfect name!
ReplyDeletetoo cute.....can't wait for the party!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious. You're so cute Bean!
ReplyDeleteAnd Anne Boleyn is right, who else could give what she does just the right name? lol
But Beanie IS signalling the Mother Ship. My cat Gwen used to call for the ship to come from behind the TV armoire. After all her birthday is OUT OF THIS WORLD.
ReplyDeleteLately my cat, Sarge, has been raising his right paw when he wants something (food, head skritches). At first I thought he was hurt but I felt the arm up and he didn't wince or express pain and he's been putting his weight on it as usual. So the only thing I can think of is that it's a signal like what Bean is doing
ReplyDeleteSo cute - and a perfect name for the move!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure my cats see ghosts and a whole other dimension to the universe that we mere humans do. Maybe Charlene is in a similar situation.
ReplyDeleteYour cat just raises a paw? Count yourself luck. Mine reaches out and touches some one, claws and all. (Spoiled imperious little lovable brat that he is.) <3
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I'm hoping that there'll be kittens for Charlene's birthday?
Birthdays are so special. I bet Charlene IS super excited. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLENE! Hope tomorrow is extra special!
ReplyDeleteOne of my cats, Atticus, does the exact same thing. It's so cute - especially since he's a lanky 14 lb boy cat - he can reach quite high.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for kittens!
She is SO cute.
ReplyDeleteSince cats ARE the superior race, I'm not surprised that Charlene is calling the mothership in for her birthday celebration. I'm just amazed that she slipped up and let a mere human catch it on film! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is one magnificent belly!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's crazy cute!!! I watched three times, and I am sure I will watch at least three more times :)
ReplyDeleteNot only does she show her beautiful floofy tummy when she does that, but her *gorgeous* white paws are there for all to admire. I just love her white paws!
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets some kittens for her birthday! Although I've been really enjoying all the Charlene posts lately--I'm sure you tell her all day every day, but she is one gorgeous girl!
ReplyDeletemy cat does that if you hold a food bowl above her head. I call it 'rabbit ears'
ReplyDeleteYour gorgeous cat shares her birthday with my mother.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! This video are so cute!
ReplyDeleteHello, we are from Brazil.
Nice to meet you!
