Wiley Knapp Likes to Leap
There are three things that Wiley Knapp is very good at.
1. Being cute.
2. Being charming.
3. Leaping.
His siblings are impressed by his mad leaping skills.
And they like to try leaping, too.
But no one can get it off the ground like Wiley Knapp.
He can also put his tongue inside his nose.
There are four things that Wiley Knapp is very good at.

ReplyDeleteOh my, Oh my.......that boy can catch some air....and that tongue...Oh my, Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! I love Mr Wiley.
ReplyDeleteThat last photo made me snarf my coffee!
ReplyDeleteI must have Mr. Wiley and his one gray toe.
ReplyDeleteOMC! That boy has such TALENT! We love him! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, what a children's story these Knapps could star in!
ReplyDeleteGreat start to the morning. It also looks a bit like Wiley's been hanging on the ceiling fan. . .
ReplyDeleteOMG, white feet with black beans!
ReplyDeleteAdorable. I needed to see that today.
ReplyDeleteFlying kitties!!! What great photos! Gotta love that Wiley!
ReplyDelete"Wiley Knapp Likes to Leap" is totally a children's book. With apologies to the late Dr. Seuss...
ReplyDeleteWiley Knapp likes to leap!
He leaps on beds where people sleep.
And while he's leaping on the bed,
He leaps right over Cecil's head!
He'll leap up here, he'll leap up there,
Why, Wiley will leap anywhere!
When Wiley's out of quarantine,
He'll leap for Charlene Butterbean!
He'll leap up onto Laurie's lap,
That lovely leaping Wiley Knapp!
Bravo Kath!!!!
DeleteThat's brilliant, Kath! Thank you!
DeleteThat is PERFECT!!!! Too cute!!!!
DeleteI can see a postcard with his picture with that poem in the future. It would be great!
DeleteBrilliant, Kath!!
DeleteOMG that is brilliant! Can totally see this as an illustrated children's book...I'll do the illustrations! lol...
DeleteLOL! I love the quarantine/Butterbean rhyme so much.
DeleteSeriously Laurie...you need to do something with that poem and these pics! Absolutely fantastic!
DeleteExcellent!
DeleteYou are kitten poem genius! More, please!!!
DeleteKath, a most excellent poem! Brava! I, too, can totally see this in a children's book.
DeleteOk so I laughed so hard looking at these I got a coughing fit. Way to go Wiley. That' 5 things you're good at - inducing coughing fits. :p
ReplyDeleteMe too, Waheeda -- I swear, Laurie, this is possibly the most hilarious kitten post you have EVER done! The photo after photo after photo of little feet hanging in midair -- oh my, how do you get ANYTHING done with this batch of kittens around????
ReplyDeleteThose skinny little legs and pot belly kill me dead.
ReplyDeleteI agree, those skinny legs and belly are just too much! What a cutie! How you manage to get these photos astounds me. I would hardly be able to hold the camera still from laughing at his little stretched out legs. And great leaping effort by Sylvie too!
ReplyDeleteBest post ever. You have outdone youself, Laurie.
ReplyDeletePriceless!
ReplyDeleteI agree about this being one of the best posts ever - with the exception of Linus Medley looking out the window. Great action shots, and I love the way Cecil is watching Wiley. Very funny.
ReplyDeleteCutest post ever of the cutest kittens ever. Totally made my morning!
ReplyDeleteBest post ever!!!!! I laughed until I choked. Those skinny little legs of his are too much. And Kath - the poem was absolutely fabulous!!!! I can't stop laughing. Thank you Laurie for brightening everyone's day. And thank you Wiley for being you.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a very hard time not calling you and just screaming into the phone.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you shot those :D
ReplyDeleteyour photographs keep getting better and better. love this series. well done!
ReplyDeleteOf those little Wiley legs! They would have been so cute on a magnet!
ReplyDeleteOk, confess now...that's not really a bed but a trampoline hidden under a bedspread!!
ReplyDeleteAnd then the tongue picture made me laugh even louder!
Kath - Best.kitty.poem.ever!! :)
I was starting to think you were just holding him up just out of the shot until that almost full body one.. My goodness he gets some air doesn't he??
ReplyDeleteand can there be anything better then jumping on the bed??
Those photos made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteKitty got air!
ReplyDeleteThose are AMAZING leaps!
ReplyDeleteMy windows are open as I read this post, laughing out loud at the bellies, gangly legs, kitten feet... Neighbors must think I'm the crazy cat lady. Wiley is such a perfect name for this tiny jumper. Kath's poem--brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThank you for truly brightening my days.

Oh God!
ReplyDeleteI´m fan of Wiley Knapp!!!!!
How fitting is it that the Knapps are the very first IBKC litter in a LEAP year ;o) They are just too adorable, especially Wiley!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just about the funniest thing I have EVER seen. Really made my day! Darlings.
ReplyDeleteThat is just about the funniest thing I have EVER seen. Really made my day! Darlings.
ReplyDeleteWow, Air Kitty! That's just awesome!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stop laughing looking at these adorable pictues. Love Wiley!!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI bet he is also EXCELLENT at being kissed on this little face!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the laughs, Laurie! This is such an awesome set.
Those are some really excellent shots of kitty tummy. And that last one with the tongue! Adorbs.
ReplyDeleteFunniest photo series I've seen in ages! Fierce legs, Wiley. I can't imagine what you're going after out of frame ...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant poem, Kath! And Laurie I agree with the others. The composition in this set is absolutely hilarious! Would you give us a clue how you did it? Seems like you'd have needed a tripod or an extra set of hands to incite leaping while snapping the shutter.
ReplyDeleteNo tripod, just me, a camera and a feather wand.
DeleteLaurie, I really do hate to criticize, but I'm beginning to think you may have chosen the wrong surname for this batch of itty bitties. Wiley, especially, doesn't seem very disposed to (k)napping. :)
ReplyDeleteThat boy sure can leap! Love those little legs and the podgy little tummy :)
ReplyDeleteI love the little toesies! Thank you, and Wiley, for today's chuckle.
ReplyDeleteThe truth about Wiley Knapp is that I can't handle the truth! He's like a funny little muppet
ReplyDeleteLaurie - that is the funniest post you've ever posted. I love these kitties.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I was laughing at the photos of him leaping and then got to the end about his tongue and his nose. totally unexpected ending which made it PERFECT!
ReplyDeleteHugs from Karen in California.
oh my - that's just awesome! made my day!
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in putting up some photos in my apartment that will make me laugh and I've added this collection to my list of hopefuls. Are these available for purchase from your flickr account (or elsewhere)?
