I'm starting to feel like a broken record, but once again we've found another kind, animal-loving family to adopt our kittens. I'm always amazed how these awesome folks aways find their way to us. This time, we can thank Kathleen at the Humane Society and Sue from Pitter Pats for directing them our way. We are so very lucky.
And so are Sylvie and Wiley.
They left us on Friday afternoon, and are settling into their new lives with their new mom and dad, a (human) brother and sister, and a pair of dogs. I know they'll do great there. Their people are good, good people, the kids are great with the kittens, and the dogs have experience with cats.
Honestly, there's not much more to add to their story other than "they lived happily ever after". I know that is what their future holds.
Bye-bye little kittens. How wonderful it's been getting to know you. Be good.
Yes, Wiley. I'm talking to you.
aww. I am so happy that they found a good home. Good adopting story always make me tear up a little. :)
ReplyDeleteThe kittens and the owners alike are so lucky to have each other. :)
ReplyDeleteAww...I'm seriously going to miss these two. Is it wrong that the naughty ones (Wiley, Oliver Furman, Clem Anderson-Erickson, etc..) are always my favorites?
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! So many wonderful pictures!! The more I scrolled, the happier I got! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yep, I did tear up, just a little...
Bye bye Wiley and Sylvie, you lovely little dear hearts!
Good grief, Laurie, you've outdone yourself *again*!! These graduation photos are absolutely outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI have this vision of Wiley's alumni photo being of his little froggy legs from one of his jumping sessions, while Sylvie's of course, will be one of her darling sweetie girl poses...
They get to stay together? Awww, I love it when that happens!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pair of precious wee, kits! I'm so glad that they're staying together that I just breathed a sigh of relief (and with asthma issues-that's impressive)
ReplyDeleteIt's so fitting that the matching noses go together!
ReplyDeleteSooo happy these angels get to stay together.
ReplyDeleteBut sad to see them go. :(
I love the synchronized sleeping curls :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos - those Knapps are especially photogenic I think. So glad they join the list of kittens who, after some love and skritches from you and Craig, and tutelage on proper kitten ways from Bean, go their fabulous forever families. They will be missed. Hope you warned Wiley's new parents about his, well, his wiles - and about Sylvie's "I am so precious I could not possibly have done anything wrong" ways. Goodbye little Knapps -
ReplyDeleteBye babies, hope we get updates. I'm gonna miss Sylvie's eyes.
ReplyDeleteYes, this one also made me tear up....That little Wiley looks so mischievous and I love him for it!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.
ReplyDeleteI love those little smudge noses. I'm so thrilled they get to go together!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky family ... And a lucky pair of Kitties. Wishing everyone joy and happiness. The Knapps are beautiful babies.
ReplyDeleteGoodbye, dear little smudge noses! Love the pic of Sylvie with her leg up in the air and tongue sticking out.
ReplyDeleteMe too! That is an AWESOME photo!
DeleteIs Wiley trying to eat his regalia?
ReplyDeleteSee, I'm liking this happy ending because Sylvie can help keep Wylie out of trouble in his new home. She's always struck me as the voice of reason out of those two.
ReplyDeleteYou know, of all the things a broken record can say, "we've found another kind, animal-loving family to adopt our kittens" wouldn't get boring. That's great news! Thanks for taking care of them until their family showed up.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear!
DeleteI love how Charlene is giving her charges a final bit of instruction.
ReplyDeleteAnd how Wiley is touching his medal and looking puzzled...
And Sylvie's Slyvie-ness
It's good that they found a family with dogs. Wiley can blame them for any mischief.
ReplyDeleteSuch lucky people to have these beauties x
ReplyDeleteI adore the picture of the two kitten balls sleeping on the couch. So glad they get to stay together.
ReplyDeleteYou mean they are going home together?/ What wonderful, wonderful news - that is so right! I love the pictures, especially the last where Ms Bean seems so proud of her greaduates.
ReplyDeleteLucky kitties! Lucky family!
And they lived happily ever after....
Such happy news. Sending them love. xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful news, especially that they found a home together. Keep your "broken record" going.
ReplyDeleteSylvie has the Princess Di eyes down!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, I can only imagine the trouble Wiley is going to get in with two canine accomplices! Here's hoping Sylvie can keep them all in line. Have a good life, little ones, and remember, it's always the dog's fault!
ReplyDeleteGoodbye sweet little ones. We'll miss your lovely faces, Wiley's naughty antics and Sylvie's beautiful blue eyes. I hope your forever parents keep in touch so we can see you grow up.
ReplyDeleteI will miss Slyvie so much...
ReplyDeletePlease tell us you'll give us grown up pictures of them all! Please?
I'll beg... I will.
I'm not above it.
They are so precious-so glad to know they are going to their fur-ever home together. Those last pictures of Charlene with the two of them are just priceless. Best wishes to you both, Sylvie and Wiley!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeletethat is not a bad place to have the record break :) and I just love that fourth to the last pict, it looks a bit like an 'invisible sax" :)
ReplyDeleteI really hope Sylvie and Wiley's parents will send some pics after they've matured; I really want to see how Sylvie's tortie points darken up! And that nose . . . .:)
ReplyDeleteFor Wiley's sake, I hope their Furever Home is leap-friendly.
