Well, I hope you're all sitting down. It's time. Our little Lamms are all leaving us this weekend.
Before they depart, I've got a little movie to share with you. It's a montage of Lamm napping moments. It might stir up a few tears, but I'm hoping it will make your heart happy too.
PS The song is Beneath the True Blue by Little Arrow
While I know you have found the best homes for the Lamms....we will miss them terribly! The new huamns MUST send updates!!! Especially after watching Baxter dream of chasing mousies....Thank you Laurie, Craig & Miss Bean!
ReplyDeleteALL OF THEM sigh.
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us love these gorgeous babies, albeit vicariously. Their forever families have years of love coming their way.
ReplyDeleteThe Lamms have brought sheer joy & delight to my work day every time I look at them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the joy!!!
We are so lucky to being the ones who will love Miss Z for all of her life. We promise to send pictures to Laurie so that the people who have loved her on the website can watch her grow. :-) The video is too sweet for words.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky! She's such a little beauty! Looking forward to pictures!
DeleteWell it sounds like Zelda is going to have a big sister - yay!
DeleteYou are very lucky--and we so appreciate the chance to see her grow. Can you also send pictures of India the calico?
DeleteYou truly are so fortunate! :) And we can't wait to see more pics of that little beauty with her big sister.
DeleteMy typo happened because I was so teary eyed! That video is just too much. I am sure they will bond like superglue- we will send Laurie lots of pictures.
DeleteI second Moya's request for pictures of India and Zelda both! I love Calicos.
DeleteI think I just had a complete cute meltdown. Watching the Lamms while my cat and two week old baby cuddle and snooze on the couch next to me just sent me over the edge. Yes, they're happy tears, but still!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me the Lamms are at least going in pairs.
I keep hoping the same thing. They love each other so much. samm
DeleteWell, it looks like Zelda (see message above) is going "alone" but she will not be alone -- she will have a big furry sister and two loving parents.
DeleteGAH!!! Baxter just kills me! All the Lamms are adorable, of course, but I have a big soft spot in my heart for little Mr. B. I do also hope the new families will give us an update every now and then. What a fabulous little litter!
ReplyDeleteThese babies were awesome, but it's time. They're growing up. Another happy ending, and just think, their forever families get new babies to love, and we get new babies to fall in love with (whenever Laurie is ready - I bet there's some ready for her!)
ReplyDeleteI don't think they are all going in pairs based on what the lucky Alex and Lynn posted.
ReplyDeleteThat video is just mesmerizing. The stretches, purrs, curious blue eyes and the dreaming. I melted.
Gonna miss these sweet babies oh so much. Thanks so much Laurie for sharing them and the video.
Sniff.
I think the Lamms were my favorite of them all (maybe I've said that before). Champion nappers, indeed! I'll miss them.
ReplyDeleteThe Lamm's are the best at napping and snuggling. I will miss them very much. May they have wonderful lives in their forever homes. Also hope more kittens are coming soon.
ReplyDeleteAwwws said, tears wiped, and this video permanently bookmarked for when I am in sore need of a de-stressor. I will miss these sweet little napping champions! All love and happiness to them in their new homes!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet babies.
ReplyDeleteThese kittens are precious beyond words. I do hope you will share any updates and photos of them here! Thanks for the great work you do!
ReplyDeleteSuch contentment! it's catching-- I almost fell asleep myself watching :)
ReplyDeleteThe amazingly adorable narcoleptic Lamms. :) Really nice film, Laurie, thank you so much for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations little Lamms on finding your forever homes. Wishing you much love and happiness. Hugs to Laurie, Craig and Bean as they send these little ones off. Thanks for giving your hearts to each batch of furry ones and changing their little fuzzy lives.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Catmama said! I couldn't have put it better myself.
DeleteAlso: Wonderful song! Listening to the band on Spotify right now.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, my. (sniff) I wasn't prepared for this. Today. (sniff) Sweet Little Lamms, you've brightened my days, and now it's time to say, "So long, wishing you happy lives and lovely naps." Thank you Laurie, Craig and Bean for sharing these babies with us and for all you do to nuture them. (sniff)

+ kitty guys William and Carmelo
Beautiful video of our Little Lamms! So sweet, perfect song! Each one had a special moment, and the ending with Baxter back lit by sunshine. Perfect & precious. Thanks so much Laurie.
ReplyDeleteAnd i got the Butterbean approved sparkle balls in the mail today, along with the Butterbean magnet! Super wonderful. I have to find some kitties to give the sparkle balls to, since we don't have a cat right now. Loving kitties on this wonderful website helps!!!
Whoever is getting Baxter is a very lucky person! Please tell them to send photo updates as the orange man grows up.
ReplyDeleteAww! Such sweet twitches! Bye bye, Lamms!
ReplyDeleteAwww, I love how Baxter sleeps all splayed out and his purring at the end. I laughed when they fell down like dominoes with Edna being the first to fall asleep. Bye babies, have fun in your new homes and don't forget to write.
ReplyDeleteI don't want these kitties to go, or grow up, ever! :(
ReplyDeleteThis was such a cute litter. Whoever gets anyone of them is very lucky.
There really aren't words... *sigh* Love these little Lamms so much! And they've had the best start ever in life! Thanks so much, Laurie, Craig, and Ms. Bean! Y'all are the greatest!
ReplyDeleteJust amazing -- dreaming dreams and Baxter purrs -- I'm holding these little Lammkins close to my heart as they're off to their new families and forever homes. Laurie, this little video was so amazing. Thank you !
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see them with their little collars and yellow tags. They always give me a sense of closure, that they're all ready to go and be loved by their furever family.
ReplyDeleteIf only all cats were this lucky.
Pure love, sweet innocence, wide-eyed wonder, and complete contentment: all the best that life has to offer--and the Lamms have it all. Thank you for this exquisitely touching video, Laurie. It made me sigh. As always, we are grateful for the sometimes difficult, but completely invaluable work you do. You continue to be a blessing to lives both feline and human. May all the love you give come back to you in abundance!
ReplyDeleteTheose are the sleepiest cats ever. And the most perfect. Please tell me that Zelda and Baxter are going together!
ReplyDeleteI will miss these babies so much--not since the wonderful, legendary Dearbornes has a litter captured my heart so much. I hope their new parents will keep us posted on their development. They are such sweet, beautiful kittens--and I hope they are paired off too.
ReplyDeleteThe Lamms are world champion nappers! especially Baxter!
ReplyDelete(Sniff) For the love of the sweet little Lamms, a round of goodbye kisses and Siamese snuggles (Orangie snuggles, too) for them.
ReplyDeleteLove you bunches,
Lily & Siam's human
"It might stir up a few tears"
ReplyDeleteWell, yeah, if you specifically design it to stir up tears!!!
Great little litter.
Oh I will miss the Lamms sooooo much. I cried thinking that after this weekend, they will no longer be the one big lump of kitties sleeping on one another anymore... (sniff).
ReplyDeleteTwo thoughts...Laurie...this video is one of your finest efforts to date...you are really finding your way with video these days...and second...I can tell when it is a particularly beautiful and special litter by how fast the time seems to fly by...it seems as if yesterday that you were sharing the first pictures of this beautiful litter of kittens...I feels so happy for the lucky humans that have the honor and privilege to inherit these magnificent creatures...Laurie, you managed to capture their "special" quality to perfectly and for this I thank you so much. Thank you for sharing them with us...my life is so much better and richer for having known them...tis better to have loved and lost a Lammm..then to never have known or loved a Lamm at all...thank you Laurie...
ReplyDeleteI agree. Laurie, you are an artist. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us all.
DeleteProud to say I've watched this 3 times and I've cried every time!
ReplyDeletePerfect music too.
I'll be back for more.
Not ashamed to say I've watched this three times and I've cried every time. Music is perfect as are kittens.
ReplyDeleteI'll be back for more.
Oops! The first time I pressed publish I got an error message so I re wrote. Oh well, bears repeating.
ReplyDeleteNot already! Nooooo! It can't be time for the Lamms to leave already -- they just got here, it seems like! They are truly my all-time favorite litter. Thank you for so many wonderful photos, and this parting movie is definitely going on my all-time favorites list. I do hope their families will give us updates as the Lamms grow up! I'm really going to miss them, even though I know there'll be other adorable litters in the future.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or have the Lamms been the sleepiest litter of kitties yet? They seem to be sweetly napping in almost every picture and video.
ReplyDeleteGood bye and good luck, sweet babies (and especially to dear little Baxter).
Can't belive they are leaving already. HOpe that all have wonderful forever homes, especillay Baxter. He is so like my Skipper(girl). :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I was slain by all the cute sleeping Lamms, and then you end with the sweet purrs of Baxter. My oh my. Thank you so much for this video!
ReplyDeleteOf course I will miss the amazing Lamms, but this video was so artfully composed! The music was perfect, and I will need to check that group out further. The composition and lighting was elegant, and the ending with the purring Baxter was a lovely surprise. Can this win a Kitty Oscar? Is there such a thing? Very nice work.
ReplyDeleteGoodbye all of you lovely, adorable, too cute for words little Lamms! I will be missing my personal favorite Zelda the most and cannot wait to see pics of her growing up!
ReplyDeleteThis is about the sweetest thing i have ever seen, Baxter and his contented purrs at the end are just too much!
ReplyDeleteI was sitting here, sniffling away at the little montage. My Fiance' walks in and says, awww. I whine that the itty bitties are leaving Laurie's. His reply: Isn't that the point? My reply: Yeah.... but... they're so cute! :-D
ReplyDeleteHave lovely, happy and dreamy lives, dear little Lamms. We will miss your adorable litle faces each day. But all is as it should be. Hope to see you soon in updates.
ReplyDeleteI've just been looking at the slide show for may at http://www.freekibblekat.com/ and the last picture is of the Lamms in their red basket! So cute!
ReplyDeleteZelda pictures are up in the alumni flickr group!!!! Thank you Alex and Lynn (and India the calico).
ReplyDeleteThey are precious. I was OK until the when it was little Baxter purring. I am in a puddle of tears!
ReplyDeleteThese are my very favorite family of kittens you have fostered. They really are the cutest ever and their little white mittens just slay me. Thank you for sharing them with us!
ReplyDeleteCould you please tell us if they went all together or in pairs....? Can we see the yellow tag pictures? Will we be able to see growing up pix??? I'm not ready to let go, can you tell?
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the 2000th post!!!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that I MISSED this post the first time????
Napping Lamms: Sweet Baxter, all blissed out!!! Sigh, I loved Baxter’s “bonus” at the end!!
