I'm not feeling quite prepared for this tremendous responsibility. Here I am, barely six weeks old , and I'm in charge of answering the phones for this HUGE fundraiser. Maybe one of you kittens might be able to come over and assist me??
Hmmm. I don't get it either.
That comfy couch is calling my name.
And I'm completely worthless without a nap.
I would help, but frankly, technology terrifies me.
OH honestly, how hard can it be?
OK, maybe it's a little harder than it looks.
Help? Anyone?
Clearly, they're not prepared for this.
Until they're ready, let's try making our donations online. To do so, just visit the IBKC FUNdraising page.
Don't forget, we've in the middle of a big $5000 matching donation challenge. Our dollars are doubled this weekend until we hit the $5000 cap. Since the match began, we've brought in slightly over $3000, so we've made good progress, but still need bring in another $2000 by Midnight tomorrow night.
Thanks so much to all of you who've helped us raise that total! We're getting there! And if meet the match, we'll be over half way home
They look like they need some kisses, STAT.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Butterbean? She needs to get in there and direct these kittens.
ReplyDeleteLove the captions. Such a cute little story. :)
ReplyDeleteKasey looks so worried! I agree with vonneybeth - they need kisses.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they are trying very hard, kisses and hugs for everyone. I'd call in a second if I could talk to one of these little darlings.
ReplyDeleteI'll help you, cute little one! How could anyone resist such an adorably pleading expression?
ReplyDeleteCats are wonderfull. Have fun when they play with kids.
ReplyDeleteIf NPR made their fundraisers half as fun as The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, I'd probably never change the station during pledge drives!
ReplyDeleteI have fallen for sweet Delana and Danica and if I were a bit closer, I would be preparing my home for two tortie sisters. My sweet 18 year old kitty is very pleased that we live a continent away.
ReplyDeleteKisses to the Gibson clan!
Laurie, I keep reviewing this photo-story because it makes me chuckle so much. Particularly like Delana's defection to the couch because "I'm completely worthless without a nap" and Kevin's snappish "How hard can it be?" comment defused by his bewildered "OK maybe it's harder than it looks." Your cleverness matches your creativity -- you are so gifted!
ReplyDeleteI love the Gibson kin kittens...siblings by circumstance if not birth.
ReplyDeleteI love that they tried to help...but TOTALLY relate to the nap issue.
Yeah, me too! Delana is a kitten after my own heart. :)
