Last night we held our Crafting for Kittens event at Proctor Frozen Yogurt. Thanks so much to all who attended our class , and a big thanks to Craig and Sonja for hosting us!!
We had a great time, met some awfully nice ladies, made some paper flowers, chatted a lot, and ate some delicious frozen yogurt. And, of course, we raised some money for the kitties!
Wow those flowers are gorgeous! Laurie you're so creative. But I can see why kitties weren't invited -- all that paper looks like WAY too much kitty mayhem fun!
Oh my!!! I made the IBKC page!!!! Hoooorrrah! Thank you so much, Laurie - we had a good time and the flowers got lots of compliments. Next time, hats? (p.s. I look really serious, but that's cuz I was concentrating on my poppy, not because wasn't having fun...)
WOW - that all looks amazing and so fun! Yes, it's no wonder the kitties weren't invited - my Charley would have been all over that table rolling in the crinkly paper! :)
What beautiful flowers! Can I really make those from the kit of yours I bought last year but haven't worked up the nerve to use yet? And would mine be even *half* as pretty as yours? :) What a great fund-raiser -- I only wish you'd teach this class more often. I'd love to attend one when I visit my family in the Northwest later this summer!
How cool is that? What pretty flowers! Did you do the teaching part of this, Laurie?
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteOMC - those flowers are LOVELY!!! What a great way to fundraise - wish I lived closer. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great night, wish I lived there!

ReplyDeleteI, who never progressed beyond drawing a kindergarten style tulip, salute you. Not in 10 million years could I create anything so beautiful.
