Inside the box were two glorious tiaras, both hand-crafted by Anne. There was one human-sized tiara for me.
And a tiny one for Bean's bean. I tried to get her to model it, but it just wasn't happening today. Prince Charles was happy to try it on. Doesn't he look regal in it?
Thank you Anne for these precious gifts. You're one crafty lady and a very dear friend.
xoxoxo
I'll bet Charlene will look so beautifully regal when she does permit a try-on. For now, Prince Charles is soooooo dashing!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That is too cute. Does yours have a little cat on it too?
ReplyDeleteOh, Anne, that's such a lovely thing! And they deserve all honor and glory, too, for what they do for the kitties. Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers.... Peace!

Simply fabulous, dah-ling. Truly stunning. We will all don our gloves and pearls and join you for tea. Please do be a dear and capture both Butterbean and yourself, Laurie in your tiaras!
ReplyDeleteSo will you wear your tiara for the Dog-a-thon walk, I hope? Could anything be more perfect? ^-^
ReplyDeleteAdorable! And Charles looks so handsome -- maybe Charlene will be jealous and agree to wear it!

ReplyDeleteAs those are complete circles with uprights they are actually crowns,MUCH posher than a mere tiara.
ReplyDeletePoint taken, but it actually, it depends on which definition you read as to whether or not these are tiaras. I call them tiaras simply because I like the word "tiara" better than I like the word "crown". But I love that you find them posh.
DeleteBy custom a tiara is not the full circle but a lesser crown such for a Duke or other Peer or Peeress may also be called a coronet
DeleteThank you. I stand corrected, and when I make them for men I do call them coronets.
DeleteMeowm adores those tiaras! She wouldn't mind having one of those herself, and she isn't usually a tiara girl!
