The name "Forrest" has been on my list for quite some time. It's one of my favorite names, and I was just waiting for a special kitten to come along that the name seemed to fit.
Well, finally he arrived.
Dark in color, deep in thought, here's Forrest Petrie.
In his early scaredy-cat days, he earned the nickname "Petrified Forrest".
Thankfully, he's past all that now. He worked through his trust issues, was the very first of the batch to purr, and has turned out to be quite a little lover.
He's a beauty, all right. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giggle this morning. Love "Petrified Forrest"!
ReplyDeleteOr would that be Petrie-fied Forrest?
DeleteHa ha! It's doubly cute!
DeletePetrified Forrest. You are too funny Laurie! But Forrest is a perfect name for the little guy. Forrest has a good solid sound to it. And he is soooo cute!
ReplyDelete"Petrified Forrest"...*snort*
ReplyDeleteBut he still looks a little uncertain...we need to see many, many, many more pictures of this gorgeous boy just to be sure he is out of his shell! ;)
A magical name for a magical kitten. He's cast a spell on me and I am forever in his power!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a beautiful boy! The name fits perfectly. Could he perhaps now be more of a Mysterious Forrest, thinking deep thoughts?
ReplyDeleteHe is so handsome...can't wait to see more of this bunch. I LOVE the all gray color. He will surely be a sight to behold when he is bigger!
ReplyDeleteForrest-- lovely, dark and deep (apologies to Robert Frost).
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome Guy!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous boy he'll be as an adult. Watch out, family-- he'll have a following all his own.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie! Great name, that was my Grandfather's name :)
ReplyDeleteLinda
He doesn't look quite so worried as he did in his first pictures.. Good name for this little mancat. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, an adorable gray baby! I love gray babies! Great name!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie - I love his name and that sweet face! I'm envisioning a movie clip of him being chased down for a bath from Charlene with his 3 siblings meowing out, "Run Forrest! Run!"
ReplyDeleteOh Forrest is adorable! Perfect name, perfect sweet baby! His fur looks particularly plush in this picture...
ReplyDeleteThat's a great name! I also think a good name for an all-gray male cat would be "Kingsford" (as in the charcoal). :)
ReplyDeleteHe's a honey pie...very very cute and the name (enigmatic and dark) suits him to a tee! Yay Forrest! :D
ReplyDeleteHe looks scholarly. I'm going to call him Professor Petrie.
ReplyDeleteHe is just so bonnie, the colour of his coat is so deep and rich.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love him and his name. I, too, have an all grey scary cat, who I adore to pieces. I hope Forrest finds a family who'll bring him out of his shell, too. Adore!
ReplyDeleteCan't see the Forrest for the Squees!!!
ReplyDeleteHee hee!
DeleteHi Forrest! What a pretty grey-bie you are.
ReplyDeleteIs Petrie said "PET-ri?"
I saw it as "pee'-tree" as in a petri dish, but I'll take either. I can crack tons of lame jokes either way. XD
DeleteThe "e" in Pet is short.
DeleteOh what a handsome chap you are! We've only known friendly greybies
ReplyDeleteLittle Forrest looks velvety soft. How I'd live to pet this stunning boy!
