Yesterday the Petries were sprung from quarantine. Of course they were excited to explore their expanded world.
They were cautious for the first few seconds, but quickly decided that running wild was much more fun than skirting around the room.
They met Charlene, who greeted them with a few coos and licks. They were not quite sure what to make of her, but in time, I'm sure they'll learn to love her.
Here's a little clip of their first morning free.
Nothing is more fun than a sparkle ball!!
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the thundering herd noises off camera!

Gosh, it's a shame that the kittens are never able to have any fun at your house, Laurie. :) They sure look like a happy wild little bunch -- apparently their behavior matches their whiskers!
ReplyDeleteI could watch kittens play ALL DAY!
ReplyDeleteWow, bonus footage! Am I the only one seeing multiple videos playing one after the other? Buster busts a move is really a joy to watch.
ReplyDeleteI got the extras too! It was a wonderful bonus.
DeleteHmmm, well I guess we have evidence that Sir Reginald is no gentleman kitten. He stole Pearl Mae's purple sparkle ball!
ReplyDeleteAlways amazes me how a couple of <2lb kittens can sound like a herd of elephants storming through the room..
ReplyDeleteAh...freedom! How sweet it is...
ReplyDeleteLove how the sparkle ball becomes almost permanently affixed to Sir Reginald's mouth..
uh oh! They've stolen one of Charlene's sparkle balls! The horror!
ReplyDeleteHearing them thunder through the room was beyond awesome!
What is it about little, bouncy bouncy kittens that makes me want 27 KITTENS RIGHT NOW! Plus the Petries. Because that would be just about the right number of kittens, I'm thinking.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I have nothing original to say, I'm just as taken as everyone else with the frolicking Petries and the amazing amount of noise they make. It defies logic, but I know from our own herd that Laurie didn't 'soundshop' anything in.
ReplyDeleteMan, sparkle balls must be the bestest things ever! I wonder if our 5-year-old boys might be too old for them though...they grew up with the foam and bouncy variety, they might be too old for such change. But in case they're not, can be shipped to Canada or if they are only for within the US?
ReplyDeleteI think SOMEBODY forgot they had a purple sparkle ball in their mouth when SOMEONE walked by, was that the 'Bean? Laurie, these kittens look so well adjusted. Congrats on the success so far!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!

ReplyDeleteLaurie,
ReplyDeleteThe vid of their first day antics has somehow been replaced by the video with Forrest's mind-meltingly adorable paw crossing. Also, there's a spam post just above this entry. Kill it! Kill it with fire! Or give it to the kittens to play with. ;)
