OH! Just take a look at that dear, dear floofy little face. Did you notice the ear tufts? The eyeliner ?And that nose? THAT NOSE???? DID YOU NOTICE THAT NOSE????
So what do you think? Is this floofy tabby a boy or a girl kitty? Take a guess, and I'll tell you later.
Boy
ReplyDeleteI think it's a very dashing little boy.
ReplyDeleteBoy
ReplyDeleteBoy, it has a boy face x
ReplyDeleteI agree, but I don't know why. I hate to stereotype but then again I read somewhere that the first thing that humans learn to identify is sex.
DeleteThe second thing I identified was "CUUUUUUTE!"

Pretty sure it's a girl. :-)
ReplyDeletekittens are hard to judge by looks alone, but I'm going with boy... and oh my goodness he/she is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a girl-kitty to me.
ReplyDeletewell as an experienced kitten sexer I know thats not the right end to tell from!Cute though and loveing the smidgeon of pale ginger on the (kittens) right hand whisker cheek
ReplyDeleteI think she needs some pink - what a sweetheart!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to think "girl" but Butterbean's tweet says "boy".
ReplyDeleteNothing in her tweet references gender. She cleans all kittens.
DeleteTrue, but I got the impression she's extra eager for this one and we know she has a preferrence for male tabbies.
DeleteI'm guessing boy.
ReplyDeleteIm guesssing boy - hey did anyone notice that his/her whiskers surrounds their eyes like little glasses - this one is definately going to be an einstien
ReplyDeleteGirl!
ReplyDeleteCute cute cute that's all I have to say!!! I think maybe it's a boy not too sure but I'm going to go with boy. But that cute little nose just brings me to my knees omg - swoon!
ReplyDelete"Boy" was my first guess. I'm gonna go with that.
ReplyDeleteShe's a little cute girl kitten! hehe
ReplyDelete<3 her!
What an adorably little kitty! That face screams boy to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful enough to be all girl, but that pitiful expression screams boy to me. I'm conflicted.
ReplyDeleteI'd like her to be a little girl...
ReplyDeleteI think it is a boy, but what sex is SQUEEEEE? :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet floofy baby! As to sex, I initially thought boy, but now I look back again, I am getting more girly vibes...I guess I just don't know!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing little girl but either way, MAJOR CUTENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSQEEEEEEEEE! I vote for girlcat!
ReplyDeleteI literally gasped when I scrolled down and saw his/her nose!
ReplyDeleteNo boy should be this beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI support equal opportunity Squees - any and all genders, floof factors and such qualify for at least one Squee
ReplyDelete;-)
Hybrid?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking girl - but whatever - that is the cutest nose in the kitty world!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say girl--but she or he is absolutley adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet face, wonderful floof, fab nose. I am guessing girl, but most likely I am wrong!!
ReplyDeleteThose ear tufts!!! OMG, that nose! SQUEEEEEE!
ReplyDeleteFirst you show a gray boy that looks like my Henry. Now you show a kitty that looks like my Moo, but with a darker nose. I don't care about genders, you're just trying to kill me here.
ReplyDeleteBoop!
ReplyDeleteI guess boy.
Floof and cute transcends gender, whatever kitten is, is perfect as is.
ReplyDeleteOh...I'm in love...with the adorable (boy?) kitten!
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't remember the last time I saw a cat as magnificent as this. Girl was the first thing I thought, but after reading everyone's posts, I'm all confused.
ReplyDeleteGood thing I don't gamble!
It's incredibly beautiful either way but my gut says little baby girl.
ReplyDeleteKodiak guesses it's a boy, and Kenai guesses it's a girl. We have a winner!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a Beautiful Girl, i would say... Sooo cuuutteeee..squueeeeee
ReplyDeleteO Holy Cats! She (yes, she!) reminds me so much of my Olivia with that determined little floofy face! What a stunner!
ReplyDeleteI think it must be a little girl. He or she is just so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI guess a girl. A nice floofy girl. The best to attack a Gray Brother.
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteI think you've got a beautiful girl with an adorable smudge on her cute little nose.
ReplyDeleteOh, the suspense is killing me... the suspense and the ear tufts. Tell us, Laurie, tell us!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess boy kitty.
ReplyDeleteTell me again how one could miss that nose?
ReplyDeleteI'll vote the distaff side on this one.
I'm going to say girl, because Miss Floofs reminds me of my baby girl Mae when she was that age.
ReplyDeleteWhat a little doll you are little kitten!!!
I'm not sure it matters. What matters are the nose, ear tufts, and fluffiness.
ReplyDeleteOh, total boy face. The fur is deceiving, but my foster is like that too. Angelic and feminine looking, but definitely a boy.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's a girl...
ReplyDeleteThe MOST bee-boppitable nose EVER!
ReplyDeleteI'm betting this sweetie is a boybaby!
This one or Pearla Dearborn?
DeleteMy first guess was boy, but honestly, all that matters is CUUUTE!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing boy, but under all that floof, who can tell?
ReplyDeleteI think this is a beautiful little girl floofy! And that NOSE is wonderful! :) samm
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was girl. My second was 'gimme gimme gimme!'
ReplyDeleteok whens later - isnt it later already come on please please please tell us - is it a boy or a girl
ReplyDeleteBOY!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing adorable boy! Looks like a lost Batsel.
ReplyDeleteBoy!
ReplyDeleteI love HER!
ReplyDeleteI scrolled past everyone else's guesses so I wouldn't be swayed. I'm going with 'Boy,' but no matter what the gender, this ADORABLE kitten is the MOST serious-looking little tabby I've seen in ages!!
ReplyDeleteBoy?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing girl.
ReplyDeleteLove the nose!
ReplyDeleteAs several others have said, the face just screams boy to me...but then again, could be a little tomboy girl all rough-and-tumble.
Laurie? - Sorry, I don't see a way to edit my comment but Butterbean's tweet got me wondering something...with all her floofiness and all the additional floofiness of the kittens she bathes does she get furballs and how do you treat her for them other than brushing?
DeleteMaybe once a year she coughs up a hair ball. It's really not much of an issue for her.
DeleteWOW! That's amazing! She must have some impressive internal workings. I was hoping you knew of some wonder remedy but I'm glad to hear she doesn't need one.
DeleteThanks for answering Laurie. :-)
There is something new called
DeleteCapilex. It's a soft chew. It's expensive, but could be an alternative for cats who won't eat the other hairball remedies. If they won't chew it up as it comes (the Capilex), it can also be shaved into their food with a paring knife, or pulverized with your fingers.
Thank you so much, I'll look into it!
DeleteI hope it works for you! Another thing, to help with the expense, is that it may not be necessary to give them one entire chew every day like the directions say. I give my one cat half a chew every day and she seems to be doing fine.
DeleteFor the other two, I'm trying a compromise of giving them each one whole chew once a week, and also once a week squirting a dose of Cat-Lax in their mouths with a syringe (which they hate.) But this way I only have to squirt them once a week, and it cuts way down on the expense of the Capilex.
(The kitty who gets the half-Capilex daily is so freaked out by the syringe squirting that I won't do that to her. The other two don't like it, but they don't actually panic.)
Looked it up and I'm not sure we can get it in BC but I'll ask our vet and maybe go online to find it. Good suggestion about the dosing. Thanks again!
Delete*BOOP* I think you're a..........hmmmmmm.....I see why you asked, Laurie, I can't tell! I'm fifty percent sure it's a boy :)
ReplyDeleteI say it's a boy kitty, but I place no money on that bet!
ReplyDeleteI know he's a boy (because I'm late reading this) but oh boy what a looker!
ReplyDeleteI know he's a boy (because I'm late reading this) but oh boy what a looker!
ReplyDeleteThose ear tufts are most magnificent for one so small. That kitten is going to grow into a most superb cat.
