Is that a hypothetical mom or a real one?? Poor Pearl, all by herself. Is she going to be with another kitty at her new home?? So many questions! And shouldn't she be wearing her yellow graduation tag?
Laurie, the suspense is killing me! Sadly, patience is a virtue I don't possess... I'm dying to find out if Opal (the girl) got to take home Pearl at her visit last week!
My mother's name is Opal, and when people can't recall her name, they often call her Pearl (or Ruby), so I thought it was funny that Opal the little girl named the kitty Pearl.
Ohhhh, I do love her subtle head tilt and wide eyes. Those eyes will do wonders when she needs to look innocent after something unexpected "just happens".

All questions will be answered when I post her departure tale after she's gone.

ReplyDeleteI'm not being vague, I just don't share the departure story until the kitten has left. And she's still here. You'll get the full scoop tomorrow.
DeleteShe's already smiling. Happy trails (tails?), pretty, purrrty, Pearl.
