I was preparing this movie for tomorrow morning's post, but after watching it again, I decided this was better suited to share in the night.
Sweet dreams.

Laurie and Louie
PS The song is Opus 23 by Dustin O’Halloran from the Marie Antoinette soundtrack.
I think Louie is made out of spun sugar, he's such a sweet boy.
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad to see that he's just as fond of kitten toes as I am. :)
Well done! A nice lullaby.
ReplyDeletePossibly your best work yet. Enchanting.
ReplyDeleteO wow...what a lovely, peaceful study of Shrimp Louie...and someone's paws! Vi or Sol?
ReplyDeleteSol's.
DeleteOh beautiful, I'm ready to sleep now..
ReplyDeleteThis is truly amazing. I don't know who the other kitty is, but that love brought tears to my eyes! I hope they end up together.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I thought that was a kitty toy! I didn't realize that it was a kitty leg . . .so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo sweetly sleepy in the paws of a sibling. Beautifully done, perfect music.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Unfortunately I watched this morning early, and now I am ready to go back to bed!!
Yes, makes me want to take my kitties and go back to bed.
ReplyDeleteAlso makes me remember that the little translucent eyelid that we can see a couple of times in this as Louie relaxes is called the nictitating membrane, one of my favorite bits of information for some reason.
Laurie, this is NOT helping me get over my love for Louie AT ALL!
You won't forget us when Hollywood calls, will you?
ReplyDeleteOh! Louie! Laurie! As with Anne, this is not helping at all with my deep, deep Louie infatuation. . .
ReplyDeleteLouie is such a great soporific, and ooooh that stretch with tiny lil starfish paws.
ReplyDeleteI hate shellfish, but I love, love, love, Shrimp Louie!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I swear, these are, hands down, the sweetest little babies you've ever had. If my 2 boys wouldn't object (which they would), I'd adopt ALL of them. Honestly, when you sell things with these sweet babies on them, I'll be there. Christine H from Seattle
ReplyDeleteThat was amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Louie is so much more deserving of this beautiful music than either Marie Antoinette or Kirsten Dunst.
ReplyDeleteIf I flew into town, can I adopt them ALL!! I love it that Sol didn't even move for about 2 minutes, just let his bro love on his foot. Then they just stretched together... Seriously, how can we out-of-towners win??? I want them ALL!! Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteLouie has to be THE sweetest kitten that has ever passed through your capable hands! Oh, my...even though it's midafternoon right now, he's made me feel as relaxed and contented as he obviously was. That's your best video yet!
ReplyDeletebrilliant
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of your video moved me to tears. Reminded me of my kitty bro/sis--he was a flame point and she is gray (age 16+ now). He passed away 4 years ago. They were inseparable.
ReplyDeleteThank you (& Charlene) for being kitten whisperers.

Beautiful Louie. I'm saving this in my favourites for whenever I need to bring my blood pressure down. Thank you Laurie, this is divine in every possible way.

My Louie is the exact same way when he gets sleepy. I love the big stretches and cuddly face rubs. It is definitely a 'Louie' thing. Is he still tiny? My Louie is full grown now and tips the scale at a whopping 7.6 pounds! I call him little Lou.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely, meditative piece. I've seen it twice (so far), and have passed it along to friends as a 3-minute stress reducer. Thank you for creating it and sharing it!
