Jessica sent me this picture just a couple of days after Louie met his brother, Bruce.
It's so sweet so see how quickly the boys bonded. It makes me so happy!
And isn't Bruce handsome?
During his stay with us, I took SO many pictures of Louie. He loved the camera, and the camera loved him.
Here's a little collection of never-before-seen shots of Louie. They go from more recent to less recent. The first picture was taken on the last day with Louie and the last picture was taken on the first day.
So if it seems he's getting shrimpier, he is. Enjoy!
ZOMG, that last one is him with his mama! That's just crazy to think that those are all her babies. They look so different.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on our dear Shrimp Louie! He looks great with his handsome big brother. The rest of the photos make me smile. Such a cute fellow. Another fantastic success story.
ReplyDeleteOMG, what a handsome pair of boys Bruce and Louie are!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a sweet picture with Mama Ruth at the end. You made a quality product, girl.
His little paws are so tiny compared to Bruce's! Is that his mom in the last picture?
ReplyDeleteYes, that's Ruth Small, their mama.
DeleteMama cat looks like a baby herself. She's beautiful.
DeleteI vote Shrimp Louie Small for PresidentCat!
ReplyDeleteBruce: OK, hurry up with that picture, and me sitting close to the kid is going to cost you 20 noms instead of 10!
ReplyDelete:)
makes me want to turn back the hands of time and come swoop the Smalls all up and take them home with ME-ME-ME!! All 5!! But alas, I am not zoned for IBKC... And yes, I already have a houseful of rescues, I am zoned for that! thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteOMG! In the last picture he looks like he's thinking, "What do you mean, leave Mama?"
ReplyDeleteProbably time for me to mention AGAIN that I ADORE Louie! So happy that he and Bruce (gorgeous) get along well.
Such a sweet Small Louie as he sits next to his new big bro!
ReplyDeleteYay for Louie and Bruce! Thanks to Jessica for the update (and of course to Laurie for posting it)!
ReplyDeleteEven though Louie's much bigger than when we first met him, he still looks so small next to big brother Bruce...
Beautiful babies!@
ReplyDeleteAre he and Bruce cuddling with each other now? Louie looks like he wants to snuzzle and Bruce seems not so sure about that.
ReplyDeletePut your paws in the air like you just don't care - should be Louie's motto! Glad to hear he is doing fine with Bruce!
ReplyDeleteAww! Our dear sweet Louis! And my! What a handsome brother you have in Bruce! They make such a lovely pair! Thanks for the update, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteI have been sitting here at my computer squeeing with pure delight at the photo of precious Louie with his new big brother Bruce, and all the other Louie photos, and I think I squeed so much I had a squeegasm! :) But honestly, if you can't have a squeegasm over gorgeous photos of Shrimp Louie Small, who CAN you have them over??
ReplyDeleteI like to think that that when Louie arrived at his new home, the resident pet(s) told him, "Louie? Well, we can't have that now, would cause confusion. Do you mind if we call you Bruce?" (like in the Monte Python Australian Uni philosophy department.)
ReplyDeleteGood for Louie! Looks like he's settling in nicely!
ReplyDeleteLouie and Bruce are both gorgeous boys. Jessica, please continue sending updates! I think you are the envy of the entire IBKC universe.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful to see Louie in his new home...and settled in so well with his new brother :)
ReplyDeletealways had a huge crush on little cross-eyed louie. so happy to see and read he settled in so well. and yes, bruce is one handsome big cat. gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous update!
ReplyDeleteThat skinny tail (from when he first came to Laurie's) just slays me every time I see it!
ReplyDeleteUpside down on the blanket holding his tiny tail in his feet...he looks so adorably half-baked. And the babies with their dear mama. I'll bet Ruth's new parents love looking at their darling grandkitties. Hardly ever does anyone adopt a cat, and then get to find out what happened to her offspring :)
