We've got another alumni update for you! Daphne (now Madison) and Franklin Winkler's mom, Leslie, sent me a sweet batch of pictures and a few words too.
Here's what she has to say....
I thought I'd share with you how Madison and Franklin keep me company in my studio. They spend the morning in the guest room looking out the window-it has a good view of the road and our neighbors cat who roams the hillside looking for mice and hummingbirds(!).
The afternoons are spent in my studio. I made a basket for them but they usually opt for the tabletop (sticking with their preference for hard surfaces). The lamp in the corner is a transient desktop object that I have to remove almost daily because the pull chain is of endless amusement for Madison.
They are getting bigger for sure. Franklin is longer and lankier and lighter than Madison.
Her nickname is "Football" because she is round like football and easy to carry like one too.
Franklin has taken to waiting for Mike to get home so he can get his nightly massage and belly rub-Haggis used to do this too. :o)
My Winklers are very sweet and doing just dandy.
Thanks so much for sharing this update with us, Leslie! It's so nice to see how happy your Winklers are!
That's amazing restraint she's shown to resist giving that kitty belly a tickle and opt for pictures instead.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Thank you Leslie, for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for sharing!! They are precious...I love that Franklin face!!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, Madison's doing a pretty good impression of longcat herself.
ReplyDeleteMadison still appears to be a fan of sleeping in ridiculously adorable positions, doesn't she? It's wonderful to see her and Franklin growing up into such lovely adults -- and I still love Franklin's little face in particular. Thanks so much for the update on these two darlings!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great update! Glad to see these two having such a wonderful life! :)
ReplyDeleteLeslie, we are so happy to have an update on the delightful Winklers. They excel at napping! Very beautiful sweeties.
ReplyDeleteGreat to get good updates :)
ReplyDeleteWish you a pawsome weekend !
I like how Franklin waits for his Dad to come home. My Sarge would do that even as he was dying from cancer. It's one of the things I miss most about him. Thank you for the update!
ReplyDeleteOh, such stressballs these two are... not! It's always so great to see the littles grow up into such happy, sweet, gorgemous adults.
ReplyDeleteThey sure look happy hanging out on that desk! Wonderful to see them again.
ReplyDelete"I thought I'd share with you how Madison and Franklin keep me company in my studio." Having looked at these photos, I can assure you that Madison and Franklin consider your studio *their* studio.
ReplyDeleteThey are both absolutely adorable. I wish I could reach through the computer screen and snuggle with them. You are lucky to have two such sweet kitties who obviously love you to pieces.
Aw, they're growing up adorable! Silly kitties!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the updates. The Winklers are one of my all-time favorite IBKC litters. They are so sweet and so precious. They look so blissed out in these photos. I think Franklin and Madison were meant to be part of your family.
ReplyDeleteOh Daffy! I mean Maddie! That first photo is just precious. Franklin and Madison are beautiful little bunnies. I luffs them! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey look so snuggly! Do they sleep with you at night? Such super cute kitties, I can hardly stand it!
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable little yoga cats.
