More than just about anything, Charlene loves to perch. She prefers being on things rather than under or inside. She just likes to feel in control of her environment, so when Santa delivered on ottoman this Christmas, she was thrilled.
See.
She loves it up there.
Thank you, Santa!
I'm curious Bean, was the ottoman actually addressed to you, or did you commandeer the thing like most of the furniture in my house has been. I have a papasan chair that essentially is a very large cat bed now.
ReplyDeleteIt belongs entirely to Bean.
DeleteBean sez: MINE.

DeleteAwww.... Santa knew who had been a good foster aunt this year!!! Love, Darin.
DeleteWonderful choice! My name is Emme and I am the proud owner of three ottomans. One on each floor and the 3rd on the stair landing.
ReplyDelete:)
It's as if it were made for her! Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAll hail the Bean!
ReplyDeleteBean looks so very satisfied. I love that, and I especially love that her little white toes (with bonus toe fluffs) are showing. :)
ReplyDeletePunkin' looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess this will have to do! I am sure Bean told Santa she wanted a throne, but he must have gotten confused!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was visiting my parents I bought a small dog bed at a store for $10 as a gift for my neighbors who watch my cats when I'm gone. When I got back my cat Pepi loved it so much that I had to get a second one. She's asleep in it right now. I got a third as a gift for one of my friends with a pug.
ReplyDeleteSanta always knows what kittehs want.. Bean, you're magnificent up there!
ReplyDeleteCharlene is beautifully displayed on her new upholstered ottoman.
ReplyDeleteSpace to sprawl when no camera is around, space to observe her charges before they become too 'mature'
Perfectly lovely. And the ottoman is very nice, too. Happiest New Year to you, RegalBean. xo

ReplyDeleteLovely! My Charley has two "cubes" that he uses to survey the birdlife from his two favourite windows. I'm sure Bean will make fine use of her new ottoman!
ReplyDeleteHer...Ottoman Empire? Come on, some one HAD to say it. Empress Bean is regal as always. :-)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Looks purrfect for next year's Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteClearly it was designed to enhance your most beautiful features, Miss Bean. How can each picture of you be more delicately exquisite than the one before? Yes, I know, it's a feline thing.
ReplyDeleteSo, that makes her Charlene, Queen of her own "Ottoman Empire"! That's perfectly fitting for such a regal lady! It makes her even more gorgeous! :-)
ReplyDeleteoh but what's going to happen when the next set of kittens arrive??? Lovely, Ms. Bean, as always. Happy New Ottoman.. I mean, Year...
ReplyDeleteIt's a purrfect fit for a beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteAnd, it's right by the fireplace, too. High up AND warm? That's a cat's idea of heaven...
