Pandora emailed to introduce herself. Recently, she and her husband said goodbye to a pair of lovely senior cats who passed away at the remarkable ages of 19 and 21 years. Their hearts had healed a bit, and they decided they were ready to bring another kitten or two into their lives
When Pandora arrived for the meet-and-greet, Clive, Ralphie, and Graham had just finished napping and lunching and were bouncing about the house. At the speed they were moving, it was hard to get a sense of who these kittens were, so Pandora asked lots of questions about the personalities of each kitten. Once they slowed down a bit, and she could take a closer look, she picked her kittens, Ralphie and Clive.
They do make a nice pair. Once is slightly spunkier, one is slightly cuddlier. Both are close in weight which makes wrestling matches more fair and more fun. Most important of all, Ralphie wasn't getting adopted with the brother who was nibbling on his whiskers!
Pandora emailed to say that things are going great. The boys made themselves right at home, and are bringing plenty of joy to Pandora and her husband.

Happy, Happy, Holidays indeed! It's clear those Loudermilks are loving their new life.
Thank you, Pandora, for adopting our sweet boys.
A true happy Christmas story! Sweet kitty faces in those merry photos. Happy Holidays to Pandora and her husband and those two little cats!!
ReplyDeleteAw...how wonderful. My Ralphie (spouse) is happy his namesake shan't have his whiskers nibbled anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Christmas story for everyone! I'm sure Clive and Ralphie will have all their dreams come true!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Ralphie and Clive and Pandora and Mr. Pandora! I'm glad they're staying together and that they're already well-loved.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely adoption story! And you know these two will be well cared-for and loved if their predecessors lived to such wonderful senior ages! I do hope Pandora and Mr. Pandora are prepared for the liveliness of kittens, however; I know it's a big change to have lively little ones bouncing around. Hopefully they'll wear each other out and let the humans just enjoy their antics!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I particularly love that photo of Ralphie in the top right of the collage Pandora sent. He looks like he couldn't get any more comfortable. Yay for happy stories!
ReplyDeleteLovely story! Now I'm thinking "Pandora" - "box" - "kitties". Hmmm... I think kitties are going to add a happy twist to the myth :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet :) I love the updates to let us know how the kitties are getting on!
ReplyDeleteRalphie's whiskers look a little longer, I'm glad! And that photo of him snuggled in Pandora's arms (?) just made me melt. Yay indeed for all the Loudermilk boys! And Yay for Laurie too for raising such happy gentlemen!

Pawsome Catmas story <3
ReplyDeleteOh yay!!! I'm so glad for Ralphie & Clive! It's a wonderful life they have to look forward to - and of course Pandora & hubby! :)
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful creatures!
ReplyDeleteA happy happy Christmas story. Happy Christmas to all!
ReplyDeleteAnon has it -- upper right Ralphie is blissed out. Maybe because he can now grow long luxurious whiskers.
These beautiful boys are clearly already very happy in their new home. Congrats to all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful home for two wonderful growing boys. Happy Tails boys!
ReplyDeleteThey look absolutely miserable, Laurie. Not at all comfortable or settled in. ;D I'm glad they've established control over their humans so quickly.
