Someone a few posts ago observed that the Filberts were 'old fashioned kitties.' My friend in England tells me there is a British term: "candy-box kittens" that applies to especially cute kittens whose pictures were used to adorn candy boxes in olden days. The Filberts certainly qualify for the term, no matter what box they are in! Adorable!
Are the Stout kittens so stout that wee little Wylla didn't fit in the box with her brother and sister? Or is she in there getting smooshed by her siblings?
Lucky me. I signed on yesterday afternoon and found not one, not two, but THREE whole posts, complete with pics!!! It was the nicest little workday treat to get to see the posts, Laurie, thank you. Especially knowing how busy you are with the book and the next set of kits and all!
1) Hooray for cuddly pics of Royal and Miss Bean, and even more hooray for a happy furever home!!!! 2) Yes, I will be your Butterbean, Miss Char. 3) OMGWTFBBQ two kittens in a tiny box.
I like this box better! Much longer-lasting and better for the waistline.
ReplyDeleteI'm allergic to nuts, but not nutty tabbies (i have several myself), so thank you for sending these two!
ReplyDeleteAaaaauuuuggghhh they are so cute I can't even stand it!
ReplyDeleteI can handle nuts. Also: spazzes, crazy-cats, looney tunes, and hairballs. Thank you for such a thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteI will make a special trip to the emergency room for these two nuts.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked Filberts, but now I have the best reason of all to love them! Although I love Audreys (and Wyllas, too) just as much. :)
ReplyDeleteOhh the cuteness!!!! =) Happy Valentine's day!! =)

Best Valentine's present EVER!!!
ReplyDeleteStripey McStripersons!
ReplyDeleteThey are itty bitties, and so very cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! :-)
ReplyDeleteTwo Stouts in the same picture raises the cuteness level exponentially. If Wylla were in that box, too, I think it really would be lethal!
ReplyDeleteI concur that this is my favorite Valentine ever.
Those ears. XD So very cute!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift that would be.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer tabbies over chocolates anyway! Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely Valentine's idea! I would love to see video of the Filbert earning his nutty name, if it is not too much trouble. Inquiring minds and all that.
