Psssssst. I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time telling us apart. We really do look an awful lot alike.
Now, who am I and who are you?
For the SQUILLIONTH time, YOU are Royal and I am Floyd.
Poor little lad. One of these days he'll figure it out.
I am Royal. He is Floyd. I am Royal. He's Floyd. I am Floyd. Wait. That's not right. I am Royal. He is Floyd.
PS The answer to yesterday's test - Royal was on the left and Floyd on the right. Congrats to all who guessed correctly! And to those who guessed wrong, please study the photos above. There may be a pop quiz later.
for a second i had it, now im lost again. cant i just call them Cute One and Cute Two?
ReplyDeleteOh no! All I see is insanely cute kitties.
ReplyDeleteHehehe, I got it wrong. Used the early babee tabee descriptions of Floyd being floofier than Royal. It seems Royal has caught up!
ReplyDeleteMy friend has a pair of identical cats. Their names are "Sharpie" and "Sharpie's Brother." You can't tell them apart, so they both get called both names, as in, "Are you Sharpie, or Sharpie's brudda?"
ReplyDeleteSharpie comes from when the vet marked one of the boys' ear with a sharpie pen , but now that's worn off.
Hilarious!!
DeleteWhat a great story!
DeleteNo goes my mom all squeee and awwwww again :)
ReplyDeleteGreat captions, Laurie. A tabby by any other name is still an adorable itty bitty kitty.
ReplyDeleteIt's very simple: YOU are precious, and HE is precious. Got it?
ReplyDeleteI have a foolproof way to tell them apart. Besides the fact that Floyd's white eyeliner is brighter and more "round" than Royal's, the dark stripes that are coming off of Royal's left eye are relatively parallel. The stripes that come off of Floyd's left eye seem to come to a point, more "triangular", if you will.
ReplyDeleteother way around, isn't it? Royal's have the little point, while Floyd's are straighter....
Deleteoh, I get your point...
DeleteJIMMY MADE THE FRONT PAGE ON ICHC! Way to go, Jimmy!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHmm. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to study better for the quiz if I had real, live, study kittens. Um, aids. I meant study aids. ;)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! And I guessed correctly yesterday, but durned if I can tell who's who in these pics...can I just call them Sweet Floofy Baby #1 and #2?
ReplyDeleteThey're gorgeous boys! And what a clever post! :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Albert and Davy Livermore!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, all I heard was "I am cute and he is cute, I am cute and he is cute.." Is that right?
ReplyDeleteFloopsie and Moopsie. And Jimmy! I want all three. They are teeny weeny snufflelupaguses.
ReplyDeleteMy very first set of fosters were three boys, one orange tabby and two gray. I had the same problem as Royal & Floyd. I just called the orange one Larry and the gray boys were 'Darrell' and 'my other brother Daryl'
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many people are inspired to foster sweet kitties from reading this blog. I know I am!! I don't think our three elder cats would be quite as accepting as Charlene though. I love the Tipton boys :)
ReplyDeleteOn our right, or on their right?
ReplyDeleteRoyal on left side of picture, Floyd on right side of picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat you two are is a pair of adorable floofballs and that is all I need to know :)
ReplyDeleteWhat you two are is a pair of adorable floofballs, and that's all I need to know.
ReplyDeleteThese three are kitten perfection. I never thought I liked super fuzzball kitties but I'm totally smitten with these kittens. They are so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure, now, boys? I think we should call in Tressa Lovejoy for a consult.
