Better, But Not All Better
Dealing with the health issues of this litter has been a long, stressful and challenging road with many ups, downs, bumps, and detours. I am anxious for Wylla to be completely better, but we're not there yet. We are treating all of her symptoms and trying everything we can to get to the root of her problems. She's back home with us now, her energy is good, but she's not all better. We're waiting for some test results, and hoping they will reveal some answers.
For many reasons, I'm choosing not to share every single detail of this saga - mainly because I just want to focus on getting her better.
I appreciate all of your concerns, and am thankful to have all of your good, healing thoughts heading in her direction. I know you all care a tremendous amount about this dear kitten, and that's why you ask for details and more updates, but I hope you can respect my decision not to reveal more about what we're going through.
We love you dearly and know you're out there with arms linked, giving us one giant hug. We can feel it and thank you for it.
xoxo

ReplyDeleteHappy thoughts, all around. Thanks for looking after this baby girl.
ReplyDeleteTina & The Kittyboyz
Nothing more stressful then a feline who won't use their words to tell you what is going on inside their tummy. Best wishes and prayers...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the updates! I'm sure that the details are heartbreaking, and I can certainly understand not wanting to share them. Thank you for caring so much about this little girl. I'm sending thoughts and skritches her way!
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know about Wylla's health in your own time and using your own best judgment. I have the greatest respect for your decision not to share all the details with us, and I agree that our energy should be focused on getting this sweet girl better.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Wylla (and little monkey Audrey!).
thank you, Laurie. We all send our best healing hopes for the tiny ones every day.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
ReplyDeleteI can certainly respect your decision not to go into detail. I'm going to take it as a good step in the right direction that she's back with you! We're praying that she gets totally better soon! Hugs and purrs!
ReplyDeleteXOXO to you too! Continuing to send healing vibes to dear Wylla!
ReplyDeleteAgain thank you for both the picture and update. I fully understand and respect your decision. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Wylla
ReplyDeleteYour judgement is good enough for me, as it has been for dozens and dozens of kittens before this litter. Good luck and much love as you take care of Wylla and her super-active sibling. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteBig hugs and prayers to you, and I hope you have an outlet for the stress of caring for her.
ReplyDeleteAlso hope you know that we would take some of the stress off your shoulders and carry it for you if we could!!
And, Laurie, we are sending YOU lots of love and support for being her angel. Sending gentle healing thoughts to the wee Wylla, and lots of warm thoughts to you and the vets working so hard to heal this precious baby.
ReplyDeleteYou always do what's best for these little ones - thank you Laurie!
ReplyDeleteGet all better soon, Wylla!
ReplyDeletePrayers being sent to all of you and also for test results that can help sweet Wylla get better! You are awesome in every way for caring for and loving these kittens. I bet Audrey is happy to have her sister back home. Kitten fans here have arms linked with support :)
ReplyDeleteSending you and Wylla lots of pure love, lots of healing energy and offering prayers that she comes through all of this soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Laurie, for all you do for these precious little ones. Please make sure that through all of this stress, you take care of your own beautiful self, too.
Thanks for the update. It hasn't been a good year for kitten health. Over at the 50K blog a momma lost her whole litter due to illness last month. (Momma is looking for a home and is very sweet.) It can be rough, but you are strong for her. I wish you the best and know that we're here for you.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs and support, and deep respect for all your decisions. You are the best. Wylla, honey, may you be ok!
ReplyDeleteI send many purrs and prayers for Sweet Wylla
ReplyDeleteHugs

Laurie, you know what's best for you, your family, the blog, and the kittens. You are so thoughtful to even explain your decision, which you needn't do. You are the boss (well ... you, and the Beanie). :)
ReplyDeleteNow little Wylla, you are in the very best hands, and we need you to get well! We're all thinking, wishing, and cyber-hugging on it very hard! We love you and your monkeypants sister! xoxo
I just looked over at my little guy who very nearly didn't make it out of early kittenhood and asked if I could borrow some of his good mojo for Wylla, but he was busy doing a backflip off the cat tree and didn't answer. I took it as a yes anyway. Sending you and Wylla and Audrey lots of hugs and good wishes!
ReplyDeleteHope Audrey's sister and playmate will heal quickly and have a stupendous life. Thanks for all you do for these wonderful creatures.
ReplyDeleteMuch love, respect, and good mojo being sent your way.
ReplyDeleteHaving a sick kitty is so very stressful. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteSending positive thoughts and purrs Wylla's way - and yours, Laurie. She's in the best of care with you!
ReplyDeleteLove, healing thoughts, and much appreciation for all you do, Laurie.
ReplyDeleteHow could such a beautiful creature still be sick? Sending intense, positive energy your way, Wylla!
ReplyDeleteI hope she improves.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine what is wrong with her.
I am so sorry.
xo,
JC
You have my utmost support Laurie. I completely trust your judgement with Wylla's health concerns, because there is no doubt your heart is in the right place. Wylla is a very lucky girl to have so much love and concern from you and all of us that care for her from afar. I will continue to send my very best thoughts for precious little Wylla, and continue to look forward to the day that you can happily give us the "all clear" on her. She is by far the cutest little kitten that I have seen in quite a while, only to be given a run for her money by her sweet little monkey sister Audrey! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your periodic updates, I love that you are focusing your attention on Wylla and Audrey.
ReplyDeleteAnd now Audrey has Auntie Charlene to help burn off some of her pantalones de loco energy, I am sure that helps a wee bit.
Continued wishes for Wylla's wellness & healing...and strength & support for all you do for the itty bittys.
Dearest Wylla, please get better soon. XXXXOOOOOOOXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOO
ReplyDeleteBut, if you don't give us every detail, how can crazy cat people like me inundate you with tips and suggestions? (that was a joke :p )
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do, and whatever you share, is perfect and right.
(I would however, appreciate it if you were to give Wylla, Audrey, and Charlene lots of smoochie kisses for me)
Good vibes and strength to the entire Butterbean household as well as your young charges. Thank you so very much for caring for these little ones.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Wylla, I do love your scraggly kitten floof!
ReplyDeleteHugs to Wylla, and to Charlene and Audrey. And to you, too, Laurie, for the great job you do.
ReplyDeleteWylla stay strong! We love you :)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you and yours. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHugs, purrs & best wishes!

ReplyDeleteOh Wyllamuffin, do get better soon! Your adoring public wants to see you romp with the Bean and your crazy sister!
